Oki, first I gotta say something before opening my heart. Music is something that means the world to me. It has changed me more than anything else I know. There's only one thing in the world I hold more dear than music.

I hope all the links work and are to right songs 'cos I didn't check them out and that there aren't a lot of typos.

Depeche Mode
This band is one of my favorites. I remember when I first time heard one of their songs I bought all their albums and downloaded the rest I couldn't find in stores. Then I listened all the albums in a night! One great night that was. The band has really struggled through times (Depeche Mode was formed in 1980) with different kinda problems and the fact that they're still writing amazing songs is just mind-blowing. They're latest album is called Sounds Of the Universe (twelfth studio album) which came out in April and I'm in love with its theme and everything.

This song is probably my favorite track on the album Sounds Of The Universe.

This one is sung by Martin Gore who usually plays the guitar and sings harmonies. Amazing voice he got. From the album Some Great Reward.

Metallica
I've always thought that this band is what metal should be all about. Other metal bands can't even be mentioned in the same sentence with Metallica. I've been a fan for like at least 10 years and I just admire how they always come up with something new and fresh. As some of you guys might know, I'm love guitars and Kirk Hammet has definitely been a big influence in my own song writing and playing. Lots of fans didn't like the album St. Anger 'cos they said drums were too dominating and the album was lacking solos. I like the album exactly the way it is: Hard sounding and raw. And James Hetfield really managed to improve his vocals in a really cool way. Metallica's latest album is called Death Magnetic and it's absolutely amazing. My favorite album is probably ...And Justice For All.

Oki, this is a Finnish band and Ely, I don't wanna hear any crap from you ^^ I really like this band. Toni got great song writing skills and I hope they keep on writing great music for a long time. I try to translate the album and song names in English but I'm not gonna do the same to the lyrics 'cos it would drive me crazy.

Evanescence
I've been a huge fan of this band for like 10 years. Just love everything they write. I can only say good things about this band and I never get tired to their songs. I saw them live in Helsinki in 2007 and it couldn't have been any better concert. Their album Origin is one of my favorite albums ever. This band is really one of those bands that can change your life forever. Amy Lee's piano playing and song writing has also had a lotsa influence on me.

This song is so great to play on piano and I play it like almost everyday. There's an amazing intro to this song too but you can't hear it on the single version; only on the album version. From the album The Open Door.

Bon Jovi
This is a band I've listened to almost through my entire life. No other band has moved my feelings the same way as these guys. My mom told that whenever I cried as kid my mom just had to play some Bon Jovi to me and I was suddenly happy again ^^ I think it was like almost 15 years ago when I understood how much this band meant to me when the album These Days came out. My life really changed that day when I listened through that album. Probably the best album I've ever heard. All the melodies, piano, guitar riffs and solos.. They're all just perfect. And it got a very nice blues feel on the record. The guitarist Richie Sambora is like a God to me and I swear if I ever met him personally I wouldn't be able to say a word. It's like he's having a orgasm when playing his solos! (Check the Lay Your Hands On Me Video ^^) He's also the reason why I began to play guitar myself and write music.
