As much as I read the world will end as we know it, not that the world will die but it will change the way we know it, with a new world order or something like that, I didn't read the whole thing but i'm pretty sure we won't die :p.

Don't worry, there is already protective measures taken against meteor impacts by NASA, any meteor up to a diameter of 50km won't be any harm to us.

I dont think that 2012 is true, maybe other pepole here think its true. But NASA says that the world will end in 2013 (I dont really belive that, but i know for sure that the world will end soon)

There will be signs though, that the end of the world is near by earthquakes, tsunamis and stuff.. (thats what happening right now lol) check haiti,chile,thailand

Signs that the world is near to end?? lol man... all those "signs" happen since 4,450 millions of years ago and as far as I know no man (even the Maya) or any kind of life existed in that time, when is the end of the world then? (just a retoric question, I know the answer.)
Earthquakes, tsunamis, avalanches all natural disasters happen because of internal movement of the Earth mostly (further information here: Geology).
If you or anyone show me a scientist proof which says the world ends in 2012 I will be scared, but until that moment I will keep studying, playing CS and living my life.

Who cares if the world ends at 2012? We are all going to die sooner or later.
I die when I die, dont care if it is by age or if Im killed by a falling leaf.
Cant really say that life itself is very intresting.

Well they are saying that the world will go under in 2012, a meteor with size like Planet X if im correct. When it hits us, the earth will stop spinning around for one week and after that it will continue spinning around just the other way. Meanwhile when it doesnt spin alot will happen, like tsunami and vulcanoes and all that.

But they also said this would happen in 2000, i remember it on TV. But nothing happened ofc, so i just think this is some bullshit that someone made up for alot of years ago, and now it just keep going.

It was in 2008, September 10th when the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator when the first experiment succeed. There were risks such as open a Black Hole, Strange matter appear in our Universe, a Vacuum state. All those risks are real because they've got a scientific basis, not like 06-06-2006, World's End in 2012 or all those stories. As I said above, there was a chance to open a Black Hole, but it would be as small that it would have not crushed with any atom and in consequence it wouldn't be able to grow up, so this Black Hole would just 'leave' our planet.
