What will happen?

As we all know there has been alot of discussion if wether the world is or is not going to end in 2012.

What are your opinions!

Its a gay movie so nothing will happen seeing as i knew nothing about 2012 before the movie came out

2012 fail, if it would be plausible, we would know it and a lot of people would be speaking about it in TV.

That's what the other people said some years ago. "The world will end at 2006!'' or something like that. But what happened?, were still here^^^

2012 rumours are just bullcrap. But we will find that out in 1 and a half year...

Seriously making a movie that destroys the world ends with an happy end... how fucking gay is this :/ ?

I dont belive that, just because their calendar ends doesnt mean that its something dangerous.

If we see when the Maya culture started, the first culture started 2 000 BC - 250 AD.
The first culture,

Classic period was 250 - 900 AD
And the afterclassic period was 800-1500.

Maya people knew that they wont survive for ever, as every empire knew. So why should they extend their calendar ?

And I dont think Maya people was so developed and smart (no offence to ppl living in South America now) that they could know when the end of world is.
This is just pure propaganda to get tention on media and economy.
As the movie 2012 got a billions of dollar.

I have decide to not watch 2012 until year 2013.

And told my teachers if the world ends 2012 Ill make school massacre because school has taken all my life (Was kidding about this )

Umm.. are you guys unaware that the Maya who predicted this cataclysm made a misscalculation and that if this were to happen it would happen between the 21st and 23rd of December 2220, not 2012?

It won't end in 2012, it just won't (I don't got a reason for it). The world will end, but we'll be dead by then

of course i hope something bad happens, because that is of course pretty nice.

As you know guys, I am a sciences freak and that's why I ask: where are evidences of that cataclysm??

That thing is only the end of the Maya's calendar, nothing else

Doesnt matter, still they are not so developed to guess that. Not even the old Egypt could now when the end of the world was , because old Egypt was one of the worlds best civilization. We can take an example of the pyramids they built, some says they got help from Aliens, because they cant belive HOW they could do that.
I must even say the arabs and greeks were very sucessful civilizations. But not even them could say anything about the end. And even we in this world with high tecnology cant answer this question

SO, not even this people could find the date of when the world was going to end.

And actually I dont care when the world will end, I sometimes think, hope the world ends now, what we humans can do.

Can just add that the humanity has never been sicker than it has been and are... Maybe we deserve to get killed all of us?

@ Florent, yes I know, I don't beleive the world ever will end because of some higher force (apart from things like supernova's ofcourse, I meant spiritual/religious force), I just pointed out that even if this were true, it would happen way after all of us have died already.

Sure, it will happen (if the mankind doesn't do it before) in 5,000 millions of years when the Sun will get an huge size and it will 'swallow' Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars before it explodes.
