Need to change!

Ok im writing this cuz iw had enuf.. also i have a sulution but its not perfect as nothing is almost. The base ruiners never quit today iw played whole day and had my base destroyed in last secounds 60 % of the times. This is a must to change cuz its not funny at all. ppl are leaving our beloved servers becous of (sorry) "retards" who only come to destroy bases. and also becous they keep moving blocks out side of map you cant know who it is ... this problem has only one solution but it gives birth to another problem but that is much easyer to go up against. If a person takes a block noone else can move it. This will fix the base stealing problem but ppl may block etc with them or take all blocks for them self BUT atleast we got thier name and can easely find the one whos breaking the rule instead of telling everyone to not do it while it keeps on for ages until the person makes a misstake and get cagth. Plz i whant as much feed back on this as possible this is one way we can make the server better ( or worse) but to me anything is better then having your base torn apart in the last seconds. edit: ofc the members and admins still will be abel to move blocks to remove blockades of spawn etc. also notice i said this is not a perfect solution but i think it would be better and also maybe we can get more ppl back to the server (its alot alredy) but i see the server go from full to 4 in a sec when the base stealers join.

what about giving each player a number of blocks they can move? so they cant take everyblock on the map and cant destroy the game for others.

I suggested that but somone told me it would be impossible to make sertain bases but i like that idea aswell like max 15 blocks or somthing maybe 20

Well, with 15 blocks you wouldnt be able to make a very good crouch base..
But still, Im up for anything that would decrease the risk of getting block stealed.

My idea is to make a reaaaalllyyy big map. on the map there would be seperate large areas (something like fun-all-in-one) with limited blocks. Each ct would simply pick their own area and stay there without anyone interrupting.

Sounds crazy enough to work :3

15 is more than enouf...

I've seen a BB servers with only max 6 blocks per person and by rule all their bases must be atached to the ground

We could try to add a restriction on how many blocks you can build + you can only move your own blocks (if this isn't already the case)? If you think that would improve the gameplay then I'll start getting it ready?

why don't you just make maps with like.. 15 different rooms + blocks and in every room spawns 1 human , and humans can not switch rooms.

that will solve 2 things:

More than the allowed number of people of 1 base. it will alsys be 1. and you won't be able to steal anymore.

playing the same map all the time solves nothing

id say each person can take max 15 blocks and only they can move em this ofc gives blocksrs a new opertunity but its easy to make a report if you can se the blocker aint i right ?

Why not just make it like this:

If a player moves a block then another person can't move the same block
So it gets locked to the player who moved it first. And you can only have like 15-20 blocks max.

Haven't read your thread good.

Alot of people are suggesting not being able to move other peoples blocks, but that just makes it far easyer to fuck someone's base up: Just put one block in the middle of their base and they won't be able to move it away.

yes i said that but thats far better then having osmone make the block you sit on fall to the grounds so you die also you will know who did put the block in your base so you can report it easy

We had something that stopped it but it didnt work as planned and as far as i know it wasnt fixed. It stopped you stealing other peoples blocks in the last 15 secs of round but then it bugged in the next round and you couldnt move the blocks, If grim can fix that the problems solved i guess if thats re-enabled (bases are mostly destroyed in last secs)

anything is fine i just cant take the base destroyers anymore

What about a time limit on blocks?

example

if i move block1 to the start position it will lock itself after 15-20 secs
and then from there u build your base and when the building time is almost over u just go to your block that has been locked

what do you think?

that wont solv anything cuz they can just remove blocks that arent lockt and then you are air camping and have to go down anyway

hmm what if my first idea + in the area of the locked block is restricted for other blocks? like 2meters

We have that, Disabled it because a crouch base uses about 20 blocks and there hard to make.

but you dont have to give ppl only a amont of blocks just make it harder to ruien the game for somone by removing thier base. Id say make it possible to only move your own blocks as its easy to report ppl abusing this then the guys who trow your blocks outside of map and you dunno who ruined your base.

well after u die u could always go and spec outside the map

What about makeing it say in Chat

"Player Moved your Block"

Then if he moves it out of the map so you cant see who did it, you still can see who it was..
