New Feature: Jailbreak Shop!

what i was saying is that you could solve the problem by restricting the menu allowing you only to buy one thingy each round

if you buy quaddamage you cant buy any other shit, same for the other items, that way you dont get overpowered

quad damage and all the other items already give an advantage to the t by itself, no need to be combined

let me remind you that there are 24 ts for 8 cts so even a nade can make a difference

Gave me an idea,
Cant you add like one thing can only be bought by 1 guy at same round?
for example, Hotdog buys a deagle, Colddog wants to buy a deagle but the deagle is already sold.
Just an idea which would make this thing playable for me..

@"ZOMG rebelling": Almost every map has hidden weapons and that's a much more critical aspect for the CTs than a weak gun with less ammo as a reward which you can buy maybe once per map. But we'll see how it develops, the shop just runs for a few hours now, if the majority dislikes it, the weapons will be removed, but that would make the shop pretty uninteresting imo.

And if someone thinks it worth to spend all his day savings on deagle + tmp + double damage only to have fun at one round, then well, he has to save it up again.

Interesting idea and definately worth trying if the current status causes too much trouble. However I'm pretty sure that such situations where "everyone" has a weapon won't exist, since it's not that affordable. But we'll see, your idea is definately an option.

Ontopic : I think its a good idea.. the only problem i have is some of the fun games that a few t's enjoy playing will rarely happen because every t is gunna be going around rebeling every round to try and get the jb money.. Infact the past 3/4 maps i have played have literaly all been like 10-0, 8-0, 11-0 to the terrors.. not sure if their is any connection but i think it could disrupt the gameplay quite alot.

A nade for 3 kills? Should be atleast 8, Since there used for teamkilling i could rebel with m4 and kill 6 cts thats like most of t's dead next round, And make the guns around 16

@Panda: Pretty stupid to rebel just because of the kills though, when you get the most ones during /lr normally.

Also, adjusted the prices slightly (HE is now more expensive).

Yea not very likely, but maybe in some week or something people will maybe have like 5k+
from saving etc etc.. and then it would get retarded, but as for now it seems okay

And also, to add some reality to it, maybe do so cash get set back after a week or so,
So like after a week or some days w/e, it says random cash control, or something and you get set back to 0

Addition: You gain 250 JB$ for beeing the last terrorist when there are 15+ players connected.

I'm planning to implement a few achievements as well (Kill a whole CT team by yourself, kill a CT within 30 seconds of roundstart, survive for X rounds,...), where you get an award + JB$. Of course with an overview about the achievements somone has got and the unlockable stuff. Also, if there are more ideas for shop items, I'll add them as well.

So in the end there is much new stuff you can reach and where you get JB$ and there should be much stuff how you can spend it.

Keep ideas coming.

U might also add like permanent items? things that can show your expierenced. like a new knife skin if u kill 1000cts? or like the skins admins can get? u can also maybe link them 2 achievments, so it becomes a chalange 2 earn some fancy stuff ^^

your idea aint good, what if you saved up about 2000credits becouse u want to use them at the right moment but u didnt really had the chance and suddenly thre gone? it will make people mad for sure

U could add a cash removement punishment for teamkillers like e.g. 1 tk = - 300 JB$.

The big suprise is not any good thing, you save 10.000$ and you get it for 1 round? Then you could buy TMP's for around 8 rounds and kill CT's with tmps instead.

This is also bad because if it is a sawgame or any game that somebody likes and somebody got a deagle/tmp or whatever and kill all the ct's, it will become kaos because if somebody like that game that guy will often start to flame the other guys.

If you add achievements, you could do a new thing when you type "achievements" it gets up a list with your done achievements and undone achievements. It would be nice if you get a special achievements as "Kill the whole CT team on one round" or something like that that you unlock a skin or something.

And I got two last questions, do you get $ from all LR's as combo contest etc and where can you see your JB money?

This is why the commander shouldnt stay in line of fire and also the other cts should pay attention.

Also, I don't know how this jbshop could make people stop playing, if you like playing ct and you think that it encourages t's to rebel more, that's what it should be, if you're a good ct you would know how to avoid it. It's just personal issues, nothing to do with the shop it self.
Anyway I think the shop will become something alot bigger then what it is now.

It does kidna wreck the point of jb a bit, Arent we going for a realistic thing as people say, Since when do you have a shop that sells you guns?...

Maybe would be better if you removed guns or something because 12 kills within 1 map is to easy for some people and that just wrecks the gameplay.

12 kills in one map is not easy and maybe one terrorist is able to do that once in a while. So the stuff is only a little reward after playing a while and collecting a few kills, and if all kind of guns gets removed it doesn't really offer interesting things, and beside that, there are way easier methods to get weapons most of the times anyways. You can't consider the shop as "weapon boost" or something.

remove wepons and give a charmeleon.
