One good laser and your uber pwnage?

yes this has already been discussed and if u but the laser in a crouch place the zombies has no way to win.

This has been discussed before, most of the people said that it will be impossible to just play...

But what if the player can buy it by 40 ammo or 45 at most, it would be difficult to get all, (plus..let's say that will happen once in every two maps)
and i think he deserves to win in this way!

It could work if 1 laser = 30 packs and you get it for 1 round and it does 25dmg a second

25dmg is quite useless against a 5000hp zombie he should stay in it for 200 seconds to die

Well couldnt it just explode when someone cross the laser beam? and only kills all zombies inside the lazer beam area? and you buy it for like 15 ammo packs?

No lasermines, please. This is a very lame item and will not make the game more fun. I say, focus on better maps to the servers and to get rid of the blockers. THEN you can start thinking of adding new items.. But, if you add this to the humans, then add something to zombies aswell to match up the lameness! In fact, why i started to play on neondragons ZM servers the first place was because it had no lasermines. Think twice before you add this, you will lose players but gain more lamers!

i reply because i wanted to say what i thought about it. I didnt noticed that the thread was that old!

A good thing most zombie servers do with lasermines, are they are quite cheap. but they dont kill in one....one lasermine might cost 10 ammo packs, but when triggered will explode and deal 400-500 damage.

No? to be honest with you i dont think we should use laser in the zombie server since it will be boring to play and especially if you are a zombie. This idea will just make it easier for the humans to win. And besides we have so many good players so for some players its easy to get 45 ammo packs. You have a good idea but it will be to hard to play on this server so im gonna have to say no mate. Bye

i once played on a server where you had "lasernades"

just grab your HE nade , rightclick your mouse and its a laser , when a zombie touches the laser , it explodes and the zombie will be put on fire , just like a normal nade but it has to be activated by laser ;D

why dont make the damn lasers explode like in halflife ?? and dmg around 500 ?? kinda cool.. i like the idea.. ;D
