Two problems

1. Does somebody know why can't I see the little profile pics in the in-game stats window? Saw them months ago for a little while but then they disappeared and never came back. Looks almost like everybody else got them except me.

2. Somebody got any idea how to keep the "automatically switch to picked up weapons (if more powerful)" thing enabled all the time? Every time I join a server I have to enable it again. Practically means that if I forget to enable it and I run out of ammo while shooting somebody my backup weapon will be knife instead of a side arm. It used to be enabled all the time but for some reason it's not doing that anymore.

1. I sometimes got this problem too and I dunno how to fix it
2. Open config.cfg in your CS folder and search for _cl_autowepswitch "0" then change it to _cl_autowepswitch "1"

1. i guess it's then a problem with the server(s) of Steam/Valve

2. maybe you need to activate it and then shortly after this you go with windows button out of game and make your config.cfg write protect then it should be always like this.

Oki, I got them working. I have to use higher resolution if I wanna see the profile pics. Took me really by surprise. Number two was like Syntech told.

ya its the higher resolution that fixed it cus it means theres more room for names and for pics rather than just names (TBH thats my dumbo explanation)

I believe you can only see the pictures from 1024*768 and higher...

thank god I play with 640*480

I play with 1680*1050 in every single game except counter-strike... Just feels better with lower resolution, and I'm used to it. Played with the same resolution for like 8 years...

Make sure you dont do those changes on Neondragon's servers!

On map change it resets it again.

i have used 640*480 or 800*600

I find when i play competitively its better for my aim but thats just my opinion
