Discussion of the week: The Afterlife.

So i was wondering,
How do you guys think about death and what happens after death?
Do you believe in reincarnation or do you believe in heaven/hell?

I myself believe in a very unique thing,
I believe that when you die you will become a sort of spirit and you can go wherever you want.
When you die your spirit will leave ur body and release itself.

Although you cant do that forever so there must be more at it when u die.

Now what are your visions upon this subject?

I don't believe that if you life good you will go to heaven.
I don't believe much of anything that has 'something better' if you die.

And im not gonna worry about it, because we all will know 1 day

Well.... I'm not really sure about that... But i've been thinking alot of the reincarnation. But as i said im not sure, dont really belive in the heaven/hell thing.

To Allah is our return:

At the time when the Angel of Death will comes and takes your soul, he Angel of Death will be accompanied by other angels aswell, if you were a good person they will come as shining beautifull persons (maybe a person you know for example so you wont be afraid at that time) your soul will leave your body like a drip of water leaves a cup of water however if u were bad and did bad things he will come like a fearsum creature and rip your soul away from your body (imagine the pain) After that they will name you on how you got named back in the worldy life for example if you were good and people knew you as the Righteous or the compassionate they will name you the same, vice versa if you were a bad person. They will go to every every heaven (there are 7, 7 is the heaven where the Beloved prophet Muhammad pbuh is, people who are VERY close to God are there and if im correct all other prophets will be there too if not may God forgive me for this tiny mistake) at the end you will come to God, He will say: Bring him back into the earth for thats what i created him from and thats where he will return until the Day of Judgment where every living soul will be resurrected to be judged by the Most Mercifull, the Almighty. In the grave the soul will be questioned by 2 angels. Who is your God? What is the book you believed in? Who is the prophet, if you answer them good.. You will stay in one of the Gardens of Heaven and say: O my lord, let the day of Judgment come so I can be judged. However if you answer them all wrong you will be punished and you will stay in one of the craters of hell saying: O my lord dont let the day of judgment come. (this is just a few things that I know but there are so many. YOUTUBE it, there are a lot of muslim scholars on youtube) This worldy life is nothing, the hereafter is what everything is about.

My belief is that nothing happens, so Im taking now as much as I can.
When you die youll become a part again of the great cycle of nature you became. This is the great cycle of nature -> big bang - particles - gas - black holes - stars - nebulae - smaller stars - planets - life - death - planet - star death - blackhole - end of time - big rip. There are lot of missing this pattern, but it takes many hours to write it down, this is the simplest pattern I could make that makes sence.

So like I said, you die, your gone thats it.

Some people take relief to their life from religion.
Some people take relief to their life from supernatural events.
Some people take relief to their life from science, like I do.

But this all doesn't matter you can be wrong, I can be wrong. This is the gamble of life what happens after life to all of us.

No, i think u missunderstood.

In this life i ment our situation right now, look at the islamic world.. how fucked up everything is, wars, corruption etc. Look at the western world. People live in peace etc. Our reward is in heaven, for our good deeds etc. Allah says that we need educate ourself, build up a future. This life is just one big test, a test that looks how faithfull you are.. doing good deeds etc. for this the reward is in the afterlife..

There are no differences in Judaism Christiany and Islam, only those who changed it for their own good

The sort of reincarnation depending on your present personality.

If you were for example a good person, you will reincarnate in something good (Like lions, birds, even humans)

But if youre a bad person, youll reincarnate as a pig, rat, bug etc.

And (At least i think so) you wouldn't remember your past life
