mic problems

I have this problem.
In cs people can barley hear me and I sound really strange but on like skype people hear me perfectly and I have all my settings on max in the game and outside. When I have micboost in people dont hear me at all when I turn micboost off people hear me but its extremly low.
Can someone help me with my problem?

Try another mic if you have or write 'voice_maxgain 40' and 'voice_enable 40' but I think you already tried it

I dont really know but I usally donts peak in cs but my plan was to start commanding at jail but the mic doesnt work.
I hve tried another mic same thing :/
And I have tired the other two things as well but ty for the tip

Well, skype offers certain more options to increase the mic ingoing than CS.
So you could just try and go directly to mic options inside your control panel, and mess abit arround in there with the options and test it as you go along.
Could help a bit.
