Zombie Server needs to improve...

Please... PLEASE!.. Can you pretty please insert nominations on maps again? It would be so much better for zombie server!..

Before when we had nominations I didn't want it cause people always nominated the same maps over and over... But NOW.. People just rock the vote when something other than funworld, ice attack or any kamp map isn't on.. Players today are so used to playing those maps so often that they CAN'T play other maps. They don't even know the names of other good maps!

+ when fun world or some other map players like is played they always extend the map as many times as it is possible!

IF we could have nominations back there hopefully be a bigger variety than now.. But I guess it will never be as it used to be T.T

my opinion:

Nomination + not able to nominate maps from the last 20 played + only able to RTV after 10 minutes.

agree. i miss all the awsome maps that made zombie fun.the hard and simple ones.not nooby skilless ones like funworld,ice attack.they ruin the spirit and fun of zombie.mabey not the last 20 maps,but mabey 10. and 5 minutes for rtv

Samtein if we start with nominations again then people will just vote for fun world 1, 2 and 3 all the time so it will become with playing only at these three maps all the time.

but thats why he has suggested you cannot NOMINATE (they can still stay up on normal maplist) maps that have been played up to 20 maps ago ,but i think 20 is too much as i said.your right when u say ppl will only play the funworld's ,and although i hate them with all my heart,i still think this idea is good.

i already wrote in another topic that more recentmaps would be a good thing to solve that problem, but nothing happend

That would make nD put up another server witch they got rid of duoing the lag on the servers , if i'm not wrong ?

Also there should be some maps removal example ice_attack , the map is just it self kinda lame zombies just camp on the water, and fw1 maybe is too small ? This is the one's that came to my mind, there's some maps that should be removed.

if u extend the rtv then we will lose players becouse when "bad map is on" and people cant rtv then they start leaving the server

i think admins should give the people what they want and that is nominations and extends

then we get more players more vip's and that is more mony to improve the best zombi server in the world !!

If the admins grant nominations again, it would be Fun_world and ice world all over again as before the took the nominations away.
So therefore i would still suggest that the servers dont get nominations again.
Because it would be as now where its different maps both hard and simple for Humans and zombies alike.

I was thinkin on turning on nominations but maybe just 1 nomination per map ? , I hope that way it doesn't repeat what xelef pointed out.

Well, if 1 nomination per map is granted then the fastest to type Fun world or ice world then rinse and repeat on those maps again, that was the reason nominations was taken away.

but if u look at the zombi server there are always 3-4 slots available. so that means that players has left the server since noms were taken away.

so u see my point more and more wil leave the server becouse of maps like ice attack when zombis in water and other maps like ice attack so i suggest that noms are will be enabled again but when people nominate fun world ore other maps then they cant nominate them again for 5 maps then evrey one wil be happy (hopefully) and extend will be taken down to 2 or 3 extend i think this way is best and we will get more happy players and full servers again in no time

and when ever we play maps 50-70% of the gamers asks the admin if he wana change to fun world ore ice attack just sayin it will be easier for both admins and evrey one else if noms is enabled again

well, even though you would never be playing ice attack it would be fun world constantly due to nominations even though they cant nominate others will, and it would continue constantly that direcetion Koed dude, when this server is not just for fun world or ice attack maps then i still suggest the nominations are not granted back, cause its supposed to run a cycle with voting different maps, so its in constant change and not bound to a few maps.

You think that it would change just because Nominations is granted back?
then that would increase in some cases due to the people who are not getting there way in voting.
in either way taking nominations away is the best way of taking the trouble away such as a few particular maps being played constantly and giving other players a chance to have fun on other maps aswell.

Do not add nominations, server is good as it is right now. Even tho I love FW, I dont like it to play it non-stop because there are lots of other good zm maps in CS4.

If I recall correctly I was one of them people who wanted to get rid of the nominations to stop the repeated mapcycle the server had. (I remember creating threads about it to open discussion about it).

BUT - I see now that with the current system the SAME maps are playing all over again! it's even worst now when people votes extend instead!!!! Whenever a map they don't play every day is voted (due to lack of knowledge from playing fw all the time) they do a rtv and eventually ends up playing fw again!


Like some suggested, we could extend the recent maps played-list and make players not be able to play a map that's been played 5 times ago - and eventually make it 6.7,8.9.10.... The limit goes where the server is full all the time.

I REALLY HATE PLAYING THE SAME MAP OVER AND OVER AND TO SEE ALL THE WHINING WHENEVER THE SERVER IS PLAYING A MAP THAT THEY AREN'T USED TOO. Real zombieplayers wouldn't need to play such a noobmap like fw really is. Real zombieplayers should be able to play good in any map!

samstein good idea but 5 is to much 3 or 4 maps ago is better

just take the shit maps out, and there will always be a map u like. btw there are allot of vips who vote for mapchange and ofc funworld.

well, every person has there own mind of what map is a bad map for them and others got a different view on maps.
So the admins cant please everyone, they try to please most of the server.
But the map cycle is fine as it is. people play different maps so its not the same map all over again.
