[idea] Reasons

well I think I saw it before on a server a long time ago...

Every begin of the round their appeared a white text with the reason of why the prisoners were in prison.
I think this could become funny; you can ignore it OR you can say 'so you were drugs addicts.. well then we're going to have this day to punish you'

So you mean that every prisoner is going to get a different reason of why theire stuck in jail?

No, there will be a HUD message at the start of every round of which cell block you are in, not named after the block, but named after the convictions.

So, a HUD message showing: Drug addiction district.
Now the commanders can possibly use that, using the fact that they are drug addicts for a reason to examinate them, to see if they are sober: Quiz game!

Just an example, but everyone gets thesame hub message, so that it can possibly be interpreted by the commanders.

It may work out pretty well, it does give inspiration for commanders to do something else than simon says and last reaction.

it would be also cool if there would be special maps for that.

murderers get a special part of cells, where it is hard to escape and drug dealer get normal cells. would also be nice because then the maps would become a little bit more individual.

It is not neccessary. Yes, commanders could think of games that match to the given crimes. But either you will play always the same games for same reason or you won't pay attention to them anymore. Very soon you will know all of them, it will just get boring. Additionally, there are not games for each crime. What could there be for reasons?. Drug addiction does not really fit because you will not get into jail for being addicted. If you deal them you will. What else? Stealing, injuring, murdering, raping and many more. But are there clear games for it? I don't think so.
Make it very clear that commanders are not bound to the displayed reason. That they can ignore it. I am sure there are people who will say that you for example can not give murderers a freeday. (This is how you suggested it. I just wanted to point it out again.)

Would it be fun? Maybe in the beginning a bit. I am not totally against this idea i just think it is not needed and will not improve the gameplay at all.

@pn: If the plugin is well-coded i am sure it will not lag the server. The server performance will not decrease much just because of one more small plugin.

But regit, we can take it as long as we want... if it gets boring we can make up new reasons or just remove it. It's only a hud message so it won't be a hard plugin... We could post all kind of reasons in this topic..

- Drugs dealer
- Blackmailing
- Murdering your mother
- Murdered the mailman

etc.

If there was alot of variaty then it shouldn't be boring.
But if you got the same thing for every round/map then yes, it would be boring.

What also could be fun is that if you are in jail for drugs then you should get the drugs thing on the VIP/UAIO thingie for every round. Also things like glow, drunk(can't walk normal like in Rollthedice in funserver) etc etc..
