Error? Empty Error?

I get this error messege from time to time.

It says; "Client timed out while answering challenge.
---> Please make sure that you have opened the appropriate ports on any firewall you are connected behind.
---> See http://support.steampowered.com for help with firewall configuration"

I did go to the site, but it didnt really help that much because i didnt understand some parts...

It means your internet is not connecting propperly to steam.

opening ports is not really needed in this case, and really should not be done unless you know what you're doing anyway.

Check your firewall settings, see if it blocks steam or hl.exe
