Server problems??

Hi all,

I've been playing on the zombie plague servers for a while now.
Very nice servers, fun to play at BUT, to many times the servers "crashes" or "freezes"?
Both servers (day and night) haven't been playable all day.

My questions are:
1) Are you aware of the problem and;
2) are you trying to solve it?

While loading certain maps the problems accure.
Maybe it's best to only install the 100% reliable maps??

But Im not certain anything is being done, i hope it is
but i got no inside informtion, so someone who knows lil more could

That problem is because of the memory...
Maybe donate to make it better?

Donate? Thats making your server our problem, i dont think so.

1) People should only donate to a "well maintained server"
2) Use less memory, people RTV to 80 procent (maybe more?) of the maps.

The host is not free

I know hosts are not free, dont see where this is my problem?

Are you trying to solve the problem or should we look for another server to play?

how about trying to help out with the server?
and dont be such a lameass, hosts cost, if you want a good
playable server, maybe try help out?

This is not a topic about forcing people to donate guys..

Anyway, back on topic:
We are aware of this problem, this is NOT a memory problem like necro suggested, but most likely a plugin loop. It is being looked at and will be fixed asap, we are just yet to find the cause.

This problem seems to be linked to the map vote plugin, as every time right after the message "Vote creation failed; no maps can be found.", the server always crashes (even if I use my ndmenu votemap to change the map)
I beleive Agito has suggested turning this plugin off to see if there is a difference to Koyumu, not 100% sure, I will suggest it myself aswell asap.

No thats wrong marksel also, The problem is that one plugin in the server is bugged and it crashes the server often (it is not votemap) when the server change maps it disables all the plugins. I suggested that it could be nDmenu trying to connect to the db and failed and that could block all other plugins doing it, so thats why i suggest my move nDmenu to ftp not mysql

This problem keeps turning up after a map was not found for a mapvote. The server changes to a map that does not exist and it crashes. How would this have anything to do with nDmenu... This could not possibly have anything at all to do with nDmenu as this problem never occured before now, and nDmenu has been around for quite a while now.

It has been tried to fix already, but one day after it failed again.
So don't mind searching another server, we all hope its fixed very soon

yeah totally this is what your looking for 850i I'm gonna help best I can to give feedback let them know what's making it better if anything. I see you in game a lot so if you got any questions just ask (steam: graham1993), if only admins have the answer I would ask them of course. Until then i hope you continue having fun on the server.

Please dont talk about stuff when you dont even know what your talking about. And dont even say im digging for admin, seeing as your the one that ones admin, I dont mind if im member or admin. The problem is most likely nDmenu it has been around for a long time but recently it has been bugging majorly which could be caused by the failure of a db or the steam updates i guess?

So dont even try act like a smartass until you really know something about plugins....

You can bet your ass everyone is fully aware of the server problems
The problem is that it's not easy to solve and finding out the cause of all the trouble is very tough at the moment.

It's not fun for anyone, but I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Be sure to let us know if you have any more questions
