Re: Faroe Islands is my co-language
This is what i find on a swedish page:
Since 1948 the Faroe Islands has been an autonomous part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The country has its own legislative assembly, added nothing, and its own flag. Faroe Islands is not a member of the EU, and regulates all trade is of special trade agreements. The currency is Danish Kroner, DKK.
Language
The language of the Faroe Islands Faroese, which has its roots in the old Nordic language. Faroese people understand that rule all the other Nordic (Germanic) languages, and many are good at English, especially the young.
Summary: The Faroese is a mix between German/Danish/swedish/norwegian.
