Rules for the Zombie servers.

Hi everyone, I made a simple guide/rulebook for the zombie servers.
These are the rules for the Zombie mod servers. neondragon CS4 & neondragon CS5.
I discussed whit koyumu and he approved them.

Every single rule is whit a warning ofcourse. You get a warning and if you still continue it will lead to the things i mentioned in the rules.

1. No blocking.

Types of blocking :

- Blocking as a human to prevent people to get in a certain area. [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Blocking as a zombie to prevent other zombies to get out. [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Blocking as a zombie to save a Human friend. [will result in a kick immidiatly]
- Blocking as a human to prevent other humans to get out. [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Blocking a door to prevent zombies to get in. [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Breaking boxes at the start of the round before zombie spawns. [will result in a slay and/or kick]


2. No harrasing. [For regulars and also members]

Types of Harrasing :

- Flaming. (Fuck you, asshole, retarted, Fucktard Etc) [will result in a kick and/or ban]
- Racism. (Offending people by their looks,religion and origin) [will result in a temporarly ban]
- Offensive sprays. E.G Nazi sprays and other offensive sprays. [will result in a kick and/or ban]


3. No spam.

Types of spam :

- Spamming the chat whit nonsence is not allowed. [will result in a kick]
- Micspam. [will result in a kick]
- Advertising for other servers. [will result in a kick]



4. No abuse of the VIP menu.

Types of abuse : The first incident is a warning! Next time we will take higher measures!

- Kicking/Banning people for personal reasons is not allowed. [will result in a removal of your VIP]
- Full kit as a zombie is not allowed. (For a infection bomb) [will result in a removal of your VIP]


5. No bugging on maps. [Some cases, causing the server to crash]

Types of bugging :

- Boosting out of the map. [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Boosting up zombies to a certain place. E.G Yellow house (zm_fun_world) [will result in a slay and/or kick]
- Other small bugs. [will result in a slay and or kick]


6. Don't irritate members whit spam and/or idiotic things


- Begging for a mapchange. We have RTV for this. [will result in a kick and/or ban]
- Slay/kick/ban XXX. Post a screenshot and/or demo on the Forums. [will result in a kick and/or ban]


7. Pretending to be an Admin/Member and/or Regular.


- Tag faking is forbidden. E.G Putting |nD| or nD* infront nick. [will result in a permanent ban]
- Threaten people whit slays/kicks/bans is forbidden. [will result in a permanent ban]
- Taking a well knowned players nick and behaving bad whit it. [will result in a kick and/or ban]


8. No cheating


- Includes every kind of cheats. E.G Aimbot,Wallhack,No-spread [will result in a permanent ban] ( CS1-CS8 )


9. Rest & small things


- When you spawn as a nemesis/survivor, you can't disconnect and rejoin the server so that someone else gets spawned as a another nemesis/survivor. For zombie it's allowed.
- M6 is not allowed. The rules above is the same as using M6.

This is a english community. We speak english at our forums and we should supposed to speak english in-game aswell. Alot of people know english because its the ''world'' language. I had no problems whit people talking french or any other language, but then again. This is a english community and we as members should speak english.

if the rules fulfills, but I disagree, this will create much conflict.

Ho i don't see this thing.
We will have a discussion about it.
But on CS4-5, there is alot of non-english, but yes, why not ?!

I also agree that it should be allowed to speak any language in the zombie serv. But if it gets to annoying in mic to hear all the random languages...then members tell them to relax the talking a bit and type instead Or simply mute.

Since everybod disagreed whit that rule i removed it.

I do not agree to the nemesis (M 6). I only say what I think. And I think that prohibit (M 6) for the nemesis may cause a bad mood and make things worse ... .

If the nemesis is bad and especially do not want to be nemesis and he gets killed miserably: it may react badly and all the players can get carried away and become uncontrollable. I am well placed to know because I am very often on the server!

If this happens, should we ban or kick all players who insult ?????

Ancient I would respect your rules I will not disappoint you ....
But I ask you to help me find solutions if these new rules will make things worse.

Hello everybody,

Tonight i was playing on the zombie server and i got kicked because of a new rule, when you are survivor you may not do m6.
I didn't know that, so i did it, and got kicked.
After this happend i heard that it was a new rule, maybe place it on the board when you enter te server? because not everybody is checking the whole time on this site, to see if there is a new rule!!!!!

But beside that.
Tonight "Polish rule the world" is playing in the game, and is blocking everybody, and he get's 10 warnings, if it wasn't more!!!
Everybody knows you may not block, but it happens always!
This is you're rule:

My point is now, why does he gets 10 warnings, with a rule that is known by everybody, and i do not get a warning, by a new rule.
I'm pretty sick of it now, got a ban for 4 hours!!!

Yes, I dont know which member did that, but it is his job to say what he did wrong, and what you/others shouldnt do anymore..

The rule is like 2 ours old now or something.
We will remind the members to warn/explain instead of kicking first.

and you should visit the forums more, it explains a lot of things,
making new friends, maby you give us some usefull information and we you.
and about polish rule the world, you can report him.

Write Status in game. Copy his steamID. go to the bann request section read. how to ban request [IMPORTANT] and post your screens. if you dont know how to report please watch the ingame help of the forums.
so we can warn/bann/strike list him, so he wont do it again..

I would note that there are not many players who come zombie mode on the forum and over half did not know there ...

(remember that there are players from all countries. it is difficult to explain directly to the server the new rules)

Some harsh rules. Dont like the bugging rule, cuz if a ct bugs himself up to the roof of a small house the zombies can just boost themselfs up there to infect the ct.

And Human blocking. Sometimes u find a good spot and then a load of cts goes into the same area. Suddently one of them turns into a zombi and infects everyone in that area. U should add

Blocking as a human to prevent people to get in a certain area after the first zombi has been choosen is forbidden.

Begging for a mapchange shouldnt be punished unless he starts mass spam it.

Else does it say anything about warn for blocking? The way i got teached to act on cs4 - cs5 by satanssoul was: Warn, if he dosent respond warn him again. If not slay him to get his attention then explain to him that its against the rules. If he continues just kick him. If he comes back does it again warn him. If no respond his fault BAN him.

Remember as a member keep the bans and punishments on a minimum. Talk to the peoples insteed of making them hate you and come forum to flame and in that way extend their ban. This goes for almost everything but cheaters. Talk to them before u punish them. Back in the time we had less flaming on the zombi servers because we treated the players well. Now the members came and weard enough the flaming has increased alot and we were only 4 admins taking care of zm once a while. hmm?

The game is so fun, cause you dont know where the zombie starts, it can be that guy over there or the guy next to you, or yourself! when everyone is blocking each other (fun world in front of yellow box) there is an big chance that duo the blocking people will get infected, and all the fault of an blocker, cause the zombies can be quick cause of the small map, also an option is to just make distance from the crowd and come back when the zombie is chosen

That's my point. It shouldn't be allowed to boost somewhere as a zombie since Humans go there by taking the normal way. E.G the grey boxes on the wall

You don't own a certain area of that map. Everyone has the right to come in that area whiteither the zombie has been chosen or not.

As i said in those other rules. It will result in a ban. Every player will get a warning. Don't worry.

I will add that to each rule that there will be a warning. Exept the cheating issue.

Ancient abi, what is the punishment of disconnecting and rejoining?
i saw you said rule 5, but dunno if its same punishment or enough to report someone?

If he does it multiple times when a survivor/nemesis round is going on report him then.
