Mic Problem

I bought a new mic today, i tested on MSN and its fine, but when I play CS, people keep saying they can hear my in game, im on my laptop and the speakers cant be turn off, I tried my headset and the problem wont go away, can some1 help me

check if your mic is on or off.
turn your voice transmit volume up
press the push to talk button when you want to talk (default: K)

also when you have windows check your audio settings there is for mic 2 things you can put down or up you should have both over the 1. line (seen from below)

also activate the mic boost on both settings (i did on my mic).

Type "voice_enable 1" on console >.>
