maps report Empty maps report

i open a thread for reporting maps if they have bugs or something:

zm_climber after i loaded wad and the map and went in my counter strike hungs up no idea why.

after rejoin it works it was loading for a short moment something and then i was in and no hung up. but maybe some other people will find serious bugs on the maps.

de_dust2_css_beta3.wad was the file for it.

he was loading it but no idea if this was any reason for hung up in this map.

Ok, this file is already in the *.res
This problem happen only to you.
You need download the .wad correctly. (searchon google the map)

like i said he did load everything but then hung up as i chosen one team after closing the hl.exe and rejoin the server it worked so there was just only a temporary problem.

while we are on the topic of the map zm_climber I would also report that there is serious bugs, people can get on top of the walls and very easily outside the map, below actual surface as well. This is very easily done and i've experienced more time than 1 that the last remaining zombies were in fact trapped outside the map..

if you cant put some type of fence there maybe you could make a teleport pad that teleports u from outside of map inside?

zm_bloodwood_final

there was a bug which makes it possible doe the unstuck function to get somewhere outside the map with - hp. its the ladder position where the water is when someone is above you you will unstuck there.

there was some other maps where sometimes ppl died (not everyround but in some rounds) no idea which maps this was maybe the spawn points aren't placed good enough or so.

zm_tkgv_house2.bsp

is very small and unplayable, me and the ppl thought this so thats why i needed to change the map to another one. would be nice if this map can be removed from the mapcycle.

there aren't any good hidings.


zm_wherryescape_v2.bsp

needs much more spawn points because everyround the half team dies and not only 1 time.


zm_anekinhouse_v2.bsp

somebody needs to fix it so that ppl can't get out of the map when are on the roof (also need some spwan points, other anekinhouse versions too)


28.04
zm_climber.bsp

also has the problem with leaving the map.


29.04
zm_noobground_v2.bsp

or so. ability to walk on the map sky which is outside map so bug user can use it.


30.04
zm_freak_lnj.bsp

small map also caused a mass kick of the player and a lag (happen for some minutes on cs5).


05.05
zm_snowbase.bsp

spawnpoints need to be fixed (for a minute 3 people died at spawn).


07.05
zm_crib.bsp

possibility to get a speed hack like boost (pinball) somehow when do something on/at the haxxor sign (think its better to remove this when possible or make something to not anyone can enter the part of the sign.


zm_shownback_fixed.bsp

possibility to get outside of map when using the ramp and land on building there are no walls.

zm_climber : I know the "bug" but players like the map, me too, the author cant fix so the map will stay in mapcycle.

zm_bloodwood_final : Tell hiubert on forum but he loose the rmf lol. anyway very good map, its a little bug (see climber).Stay in mapcycle
zm_tkgv_house2.bsp : REMOVED
zm_wherryescape_v2.bsp : Removed, its not a good escape map. Tell if its false. removed for now. I wait your opinion.
zm_anekinhouse_v2.bsp : look for bloodwood and climber Smile
zm_noobground_v2.bsp : yes only on this version, its ok.
zm_freak_lnj.bsp : For me too, REMOVED
zm_snowbase.bsp : fixed
zm_crib.bsp : no its the entity, its normal, there is the same on 2 other map Razz
zm_shownback_fixed.bsp : Cant do anything.

like reported earlier maked a server crash - reason when to many persons fall in water and die = respawn so it makes connection problem and server restarts.

since the map isn't really good i would like to have it removed if possible and hiubert may redone it without this needs to be happen.
