In-game community Empty In-game community

Post by Marksel Thu Oct 15, 2009 3:47 am

After buying a new monitor some time ago, the pictures and the indication wether people are in my friends list or not at the score screen ingame have disapeared.

Does anyone know how to get it back?

I first got these as i changed my in-game resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768
Also you have to activate it in Steam (Steam Settings -> In-game)

well yes mine disapeared when i increased me resolution beyond 1024x768, but i wouldn't want to reduce my resolution back to 1024x768 as my current monitor is widescreen.

I do have steam settings -> In-game enabled, all this does is enable the possibility to access steam chat and community after you push shift+tab, I'm strictly on about the pictures at the score screen.

Ok i checked and i do have max settings, max resolution, 32bit colours

Could it be because the settings are on Widescreen?

EDIT: just changed widescreen to normal and i could see it propperly =/ guess it doesn't work on widescreen?

What is your max resolution?
When i use widescreen, it's only not working with 1280 x 720. All other resolutions are higher and it works with them.

I've got also a 19" Widescreen Monitor, but my max resolution is 1440 x 900
But in CS, i am using 1024 x 768, because it looks better.
