More Slots for the Jailbreak Server

Hello,
as I know from Satoko, the server load is already very high, so that it's not possible to just increase the slots on the Jailbreak Server. However I think that there's the possibility to reduce slots on other servers because it's more needed here.

I've watched the other ND-Servers now a while, and I think the Fun/Deathmatch Server can be reduced to max. 25, and, in a pinch, also the deathrun server for max. 5 slots, so that the Jailserver can grow to 32 Slots.

The Jailserver is beside the Zombieserver the most popular server, the 25 Slots are FULLTIME loaded, even in the middle on the night (even now! It's fuckin 4 AM in the morning in the middle of the week! Even Zombieserver isn't that high visited!). I think more slots are really needed, and the slots will be filled on time. It also makes more fun with more people.

Hmmm... i have to agree that the jail server is most times full... BUT more people at jail server will result in more rebellions because the CT's cant control the huge amount of people.

That's not a valid argument because then we can allow one more CT. I know Jailbreak Server on CS:S which have 50 Slots

i think it would be good i would decompile maps and re make them add more spawns if we do and we would need a admin there atleast 18/7 so yh.....

Then nD members have to watch the CTs bit more, and should have the power to swap with Ts with mic. Falastany for example made a great job yesterday when he looked that everyone with mic gets to CT. I don't think you should deny 5-6 more terrorists because of the less-mic situation. Actually, this is a subject on his own.

Jailbreak itself is made for many many players, so nearly every Jailbreak Server on CS:S has 32 Slots or more.

That is exackly what I am doing. Tempbanned a few players tonight. One of them were RizZo, a player you thought were innocent. You werent even there.

Jailbreak server is pretty much 24/7 full i agree..
If u raise the slots to lets say 32 then you should also make the CT slots to lets say 7-8 seeing as 1 CT has the power of 3 T's then.
Thats quite fair seeing that he has an gun and 3 T's could gangbang him.

@Magnus, Ive become pro in tempbanning hehe though i would like it if there were some more reasons to kick people for jail seeing that 9/10 times i kick them for abuse.

so this is what we would need if we changed:

7-8 ct slots
25-26 t slots
nD team switch team command
Atleast 2 admins on 24/7
Atleast 5 ct's with mic

And alot more but i just thought what we could do is add a slot a week or something so people will get used to it instead of a sudden change

you will not have 2 admins there for the full time of the day. you can be lucky if: me, agito or koy is sometimes there or in the night/evening also kermit and magnus. but 24/7 not possible.

if jail raise up with the slots then 31(32) = 1 reserved slot for admin and the same should be on cs4.

yh 1 slot reserved for admin would be good but alot of the admins are in different time zones so we might be able to get there around 18 hours a day

Also for the extra 6 hours we could get a votekick plugin and enable it then and if the vote fails they get kicked??

Admins? we also have crew members innit? last 2 weeks ive played 100 hours on the jailserver controlling the bunch so i think thats quite coverd

@DarkNess, Good idea there, but i guess that will have our need of a new power, swap!

@Mati, yeah it was hard time yesterday, people did not want to listen so i have to do it on my own way of swaping ppl if u understand how lols....
IT IS annoying when people have mics in tr and officers dont want to change with them....really.

Also i dont think we need admins really, but the swap thing would help us very much, or we can always kick them out....

Yep, but I would rather say 7, because the more CTs, the more escaping ways get watched and so it get's impossible to escape if there are 8 CTs and maybe one more because he switched at the right moment (today there are also sometimes 7 CTs). 8 CT should really max, better 7 I think.

WTF? Why is that needed? It is more than enough when there's someone with the possibility to kick/tempban on the server, like nD Team Member! So 2 people at day and evening, and one at late night/morning should be more than enough. At the moment nearly anytime is someone with those powers on the servers, so the situation on this is already not bad!

It would be good (the more CTs with mic, the better it gets), but at least 1 people minimum is enough (only if he give commands!). When there are more people with mic they can continue to give command when the "command leader" get's killed, so it's always good, but the main importance is one with mic that gives commands.


Votekick plugin is another subject, but I agree on that suggestion! Sometimes there's just no team member/admin there, so player need to kick the disquieter! (There's already vote console command, but that's to less because it only work in one team...)

From what I see more slots would be great, the maximum is 32 in CS 1.6 right? I also think that the CT's should be like, forum members or classified people with mics for the job, not noobs who freekill and cause chaos on the server.

I've seen bigger servers than 32 players.

cs severs are limited to 32 slots then they has been counted together with other servers they running.

Great that it have 32 Slots now! The last thing needed now, is a last request script.
