PES or FIFA?

So I downloaded both PES11 and FIFA11 from the PS3 store played both demo's yesterday. I am a very PES fanatic (no not fagnatic..) and I play the game since winning eleven (older versions of the PES today). I always bought PES and for some reason PES dissapointed me this year whit their crappy demo. On the other hand demo's never show the true outcome of the game itself. It's just for the gameplay I think. However I have played FIFA11 demo and I am really exited about that one! It has really good graphics and I just adore the gameplay for some reason (PES and FIFA are not alike). Here are some youtube clips about the PES11 demo and FIFA11 demo. I really like FIFA's demo this year and I hope the game will be good aswell!

Please only respond whit serious posts, not only write : PES/FIFA ftw or something like that. I need some good arguments so I can decide which game to buy. I am a football fanatic (A)!

Fifa is a classic, always have been and always will be imo.

Classic is not a reason for me to buy it to be honest. I need some concrute arguments about why FIFA is better and vice versa.

I doubt people actually care which you would buy they just give their opinion on which they think is better, whatever.
With FiFA you know that the game will continue with upgrades/updates (fifa 2012) etc because it has done it before, and PES you never know if the game can just die.

I didn't made this topic so that people would know what I will buy. I just made it so I can make a decision on which game to buy.

I couldn't care less about upgrades and updates. It's all about the game itself and it's graphic/gameplay.

I always prefered FIFA on the console and PES on the desktop.
Actually I don't have a favourite one. I played more FIFA then PES and thats why I stick with FIFA. Imo it has better gameplay and graphics.

From what I heard Pro Evolution Soccer (Sucker?) is alot better than FIFA.

The gameplay seems more pleasant.

TBH Fifa is only "well known" and a "classic". But nothing else unfortunetly

I haven't played any of the newer versions, but like 6 years ago, PES was far better than FIFA, I had both and FIFA simply seemed like a poor try to a soccer game compared to PES.

pes on WII was fantastic

I got to say that i'am a pes fan. And the did test the demo yesterday. It is really awesome. The players move better, alot of new moves and new features, LM online [Liga master online] like you create ur own club and play vs other pps online, you win money by wining a game and then u can afford better players^^ also the BAL [become a legend] is like +999999 better than on fifa , much more realistic^^ and the graphic's themselves are better than fifa. Fifa maybe have a better gameplay, but pes11 has immproved the gameplay abit this year so now i prefer pes in all aspects^^ "Pes2011, engineered for freedom"

You probably have a instinct of what PES gameplay will be just for playing the demo and your guts pointed to FIFA. You are already sick of PES and up for something new. You saw FIFA and found it attracting and appealing. What counts is your experience and for what I read it tells you that you want FIFA.

If you played PES for all those years and now find yourself tired.(you should pick Fifa)
If you liked the gameplay better than PES.(You should pick Fifa)

Your choice must be the game you liked the most.

I've always been a PES fan in the past aswell (had like 3 games on the PS2), but once I got my PS3 and FIFA10, it seemed superiour. Niceer graphics, nicer gameplay. PES seemed just a bit more static.

Also, a great argument to buy FIFA is ofcourse that you can now play against me online! ^^

I played PES for like 4 years until my brother started playing FIFA. He said it's much better and that I shall try it too. So I tried it and noticed(even after 4 years of PES) that FIFA is really ways better in 2 hours. It has a better graphic, a better feeling while playing, it runs smoother and a imporant point for me: It has more linceses(the whole Bundesliga). That made me running over to FIFA and I guess I will stay there

That's also one of the reasons I am going to buy FIFA 11. PES has only like 5 leagues and that irritates me a lot when FIFA has them all!
