Some Server Changes.... Maybe ¿?¿?

First of all ive tried some mounths now to get this tru but no luck. sooo ill try agian..

Speedrun : Surf

When we got the speedrun server i asked koy if we maybe could make some Surf maps so its not Bhop only.. He then started installed Slide maps, which was cool, but still not real surfmaps with timers as i kinda wanted. The thing is that even tho alot of people maybe dont like the Speedrun server because of some people are better and such... (casual whiners).. But we cant get around that Speedrun server actully is one of the most played servers (compared to time up and all that), theres always people there.. The Good thing about Speedrun is:

1) Dosnt requires ANY others to play it.. The top lists stays and everything is on your own.... its not like Jailbreak/sentry which requires alot of people to be fun...

2) Its a standalone mod.... dosnt really need that much Moderating.. becuase you cannot really breake any other rules than the general rules for CS... no hacking.... ofc it requires alittle for harrassers.. but still

3) It dosnt require any kinda memory from the server. It Only need Timers / nD Menu / RTV.... No Trail i needed to take memory and all those other "crap" addons that dosnt really help and just takes more memory..

Would a Speedrun Server with surf be good? (Dont comment it with... I dunno how to surf, so it will suck for me...) - Practice makes Perfect...

1 Server with Speedrun Surf ?

I Kinda want your guys opinion on this, since to be honest then the Sliderace / Sentry server is boring / dead / crap...

... If nD should get a FFA server, it should be bought by a host. and not hosted like all the other servers of nD.. it simply ruins the reason to make a FFA Server. i really want a FFA Server too, but i dont wanna play on laggy server with crappy hitboxes..

Would be good with surf maps but propper ones tho, not the ones with about 5 ramps..

The thing that appeals people to come to speedrun I think is the autobhop, which isn't particularly useful in slide/surf maps unless you are going for the pro15 rankings. I see alot more people in the server when bhop maps are on than when slide maps are on, so I actually would suggest removing slide from the server..

you got that COMPLETELY wrong..

I'm not saying remove sliderace.. I'm saying remove slide_ maps from the SPEEDRUN server..

I agree on the slide maps, but atleast worth a try with surf.. and people wanna learn how to surf too..

and alot of people hates surf beucase they dunno how to do... which is kinda sad beucase its not that hard to learn

Id like the idea to make a surf timerelated server. On cs3 its also surf but on a lot of maps the use of the parachute ruins it.

With a timer it would be nice. Also to learn it.

I agree actually on the ffa server. It would be nice but the old one we had some time ago didnt worked out. It was empty all the time.

And about sliderace and sentry. Sentry is getting more popular. Sliderace is down all the time. And when its up its empty. not enough maps for it I think.

I guess we could give it a go.

I'd rather just have a shitload of new speedrun maps. Oh, and ofc tweaking sentrymod so it's actually not as rage inviting as it is now with all the hitbox and speed bugs...

There is alternatives instead of another surf server..

-FFA
-WC3
-Deathrun
-Superhero mod
-Deathrace
i can just go on and on...

Why u suggesting surf? we alreddy have a surf server which is getting very popular lately. I dont see why we need another surf server. Since we have redirect the mods i suggested above would make it more popular than another surf server...

Parachute dosent ruin cs3 lol, ur just mad cuz i stole 12 levels from u other day haha.. And i know couple of regulars that compeite for 1st place in !top list. Ive talked to them and they see nD surf as one of a kind especialy cuz of the parachute, it makes it easyer to knife ppls and reach hard spots on the map(Usefull when u reach scout level) & it ends the game faster. But mapcycle needs a fix tho..

Ok without going to much offtopic. haha I didnt liked it that you stole level after level. I was almost back at awp . But I mean that the parachute in some maps makes the surf part unnecessary. I dont want the parachute away. I use it also and its good that its in cs3.

Cant we just add some surf maps at the speedrun server? Or is that a a stupid idea?

I think it would be better to remove the slidemaps from the speedrun server and put some real surfmaps to the server instead.

The slidemaps are so short and you finish them like 10 times before it's a mapchange. Many people just stands afk in the spawn until its a new map because they already have finished the map.

Mind read agian.... We got a Surf server Yes... but with GG....

Real Surf and Gungame has nothing to do with each other. You could also put FY maps on GG Server....

If you read and understand what i suggest, then its a Server with Speedrun and Surfmaps..

and it can atleast be better than Sliderace <.<..... which fails hard since no1 plays there..
