Sliderace -> FFa?

Well no one plays there anyway, Do something with the server. Make it a FFa people loved the FFa server till it started lagging

I also enabled poll for this, Lets see what everyone thinks of this idea..

Sliderace would be awesome if we had maps to play on, that is the only flaw in sliderace, and that would make it popular, rather than a phew maps everyone already has played a milion times.

Bring FFa back :p

Well i never tried sliderace, but i would also like to see a FFA server on the nD server list.

i like Slide , but also like slide.. but it's always empty

Why not making this a 24/7 Funworld 1,2,3 and Ice_Attack 1,2 Zombie server ?

If you haven't noticed yet, most of the time the sliderace server is down. This is caused by one of the plugins. Admins can simply restart the server but it is down soon again...
But the main problem is what Marksel said. We only have about 5 different maps. Afaik our community is the only one which has a sliderace server and therefore we are the only ones making sliderace maps. I myself am not really motivated to make a new sliderace map and seeing that there was no new map for quite a while, the others also aren't. (Icould be wrong about this one, though).
Maybe it would have been better if the plugin was public or the maps would kill players (not the plugin). This way there might have been more sliderace servers, but also more different maps which would improve the server. No, i don't say we should do this. This was just my thoughts...

I am generally for changing the server into a more popular one. The FFA server was nice but WC3 also was good. (Best would be of course a popular good and working Deathrun server, but this will like never happen i guess ^^ )

Yes, i agreed with regit. I was thinking in make a new sr map, but when i saw that the server is always empty, i thought why should i make a map and put alot of effort on it, if nobody will play it o.O...
Yes, WC3 were very nice indeed, but it's quite the same as sentry mod, FFa is also nice.

WC3 isn't even near the same as SentryMod. It's like saying JailBreak is the same as SlideRace.

Anyways, I'd rather want the WC3 back but FFa might be okay too, I suppose.

Now that we have redirect it is actualy posseble to make DR popular once again. Surf went from 0-5 players to 15+ due to redirect, but same can happen for WC3, not sure about FFA tho, might get boring in the length so not much will play it.

FFa was never boring it got lag and you couldnt play it.

Not true, it got 15+ due to surf gg actually working again rather than bugging out all the time, xdirect was already enabled way before surf got 15+.

Wait just know i remember that WC3 doesn't got deathmatch. I meant the deathmatch server that we had before and it was practically the same

It would be nice but I would prefer to get the deathrun server back, but slide is fun its just booring when no-one plays it...

But deathrun that would be nice to play again

But the xredirect might've given the surf server the push needed for it to get half-filled.

And have more crashes = no players = unpopular nD community?
The SR server is barely up, there's no players on it so tbh I don't see any point in having it, just a waste of a good server.
