EDIT: ON topic: Warhammer online was actually really really good pvp wise (i only played a demo though) there's another mmo which was made before 1 year or something (japaneese style) called Aion, it was as exciting until I found out you need to play half a year to reach max level, although I played it until about level 40 on a private server i can recommend both of those MMORGP's

As a serious responce to this.
If you are looking for an MMORPG, every single one apart from WoW has been a flop so far, so if you want to play an MMORPG you either have to wait, or play WoW.

The only other one I can think of that is somewhat playable is Warhammer Online, unsure if its still played though.

The only MMORPG I'm playing atm is Atlantica Online, I've been stuck to that game for like years of time.. Maybe not years, but you get what I'm meaning..

Though, my max level char is only 105, but I have a epic mount, cape and more things which makes me epic! ;]
Just had to brag a bit.. x]

Diablo 2 LOD ~ no one can argue how epic this game is (even if it is a bit old)
