Wrong server..

Why does it transfer me to another nD server sometimes when i join the zombie server? That happened alot yesterday..

Some minutes ago a guy name Soap came to the Fun server and was like, wth this is not the Zombie server...

Im just asking, why is that happening?

if the server is full , you get rederected so you can play on that server until there is a free spot in zombie

just type /retry in chat and you will joinz ombie as soon as there is a spot!

We have installed X-Redirect again to our servers.

Yes but it also happens when the server is not full....

it happens when there are 31/32 players, i dont know whether this is slot reservation incase of admin emergency where they need demos to ban everyone forever.

This is even needed for the plugin to work. If there were 32 players on a server no client could connect to it and therefore they can not be redirected to another server.

no it happens also when there are under 30 on server.

This has really happed me like all the time... its pretty sad, i type /server


Press 4 then i come to Fun Server, So then i wait to download the fun map - type /server there, come to Jailbreak server, type /Server, come to Deathrun server, type /Server come to Zombie.... pretty sad that you've actually have to type /server 4 times and download maps to just enter an server... pretty sadnesssss

AND trust me, it really DOES happen WHEN the server is NOT full....;S

try using /retry instead of /server.

It's really annoying and it's messing up the gaming play today i tried to play zombies server i took about 5 minutes to actually enter the server kept redirecting me to other nD Servers.

When you arrive at another server:
say /retry

If this does not work, which sometimes it doesn't and you are told redirect is disabled on the server then do this:
say /server

Try get on the server manually, hopefully you will be redirected to a server that has redirect enabled on neonDragon and try the /retry command again. You may even get a place without having to retry. That is what I have been doing and it works well for me, I can now put up with the redirect and think it's quite good (better once it's actually enabled redirect on all servers) and the reason for this is because other less active servers get some players improving their stats, you may find a new server you actually like and finally instead of spamming your retry connect button like in the old days, you have a chance to speak to other people and play in a game until there is a space in the server you want to play available.
