the new autobalance thing is kinda wierd.. because if a t's wants to be ct.. he can be lucky that the next round someone else is getting transfered to t's .. witch is kinda odd.. since he was the last one to join ct.. and on maps like czone.. its to hard to be ct's when its like 2 cts against 7 t's.. even so it says 2:1 o...O

Yeah , it makes the ratio of the teams 2:1 So the Ts have the double amount of players than the Cts. But it fails sometimes tbh. :/ It's there since this morning or something :p

The ratio does need to be looked over to be honest, because especially when playing with a low amount of people it is rather unfair, because now it can be 1v4, and the T's can't join the CT to help him, because 2v3 is not 1:2, going up being 2v6, 3v8, 4v10, 5v12. It stops being a problem at 4v10, but I think it should be changed a little bit. Just did a maths exam so can't be arsed finding a good ratio myself atm, might check the possibilities later.

I like the idea of the ratio's, and it does fix alot, but atm the ratio is too high for propper gameplay at a low amount of players, assuming that the CT's don't all know perfectly fine what to do and are perfect commanders.

It is good that the ratio is being checked,
its only weird that during the day people get switched and die. why not holding the ratio good by just dont let them join ct when they enter the server and not let them switch during the game?

It sucks! Today in the morning there were 1 CT and 5/6 T's and when I joined CT some asshole kept rejoining the server so that I switch back to T.

I will change some stuff, especially that the switching procedure get's executed in the end of a round.

The normal ratio is 1:3, a min. ratio of 1:2 is pretty much the lowest that should be possible, and such a ratio manager is needed since in the mornings there were often as many CTs than Ts or even more, that has to be prevented.

Also, currently the one with the lowest time in server gets switched. Gonna optimize that.

How it is fine when there are more CTs than Ts?! Do the Ts have *any* chance to rebel then? No, not even the slightest. A part of the jailbreak aspect gets lost when the CT team is over dominated.

I updated the ratio manager now by the way: Switching only occurs on the end of a round. Also, everyone joining CT gets a number. First one who joins CT gets "1", 2nd one "2", and so one. If they get switched to terrorist, they loose there number. When there's bad ratio the ones with the highest number get's switched. That avoids for example, that people who got switched due to breaking the rule, stay T.

Imagine this: There's some CT's without mics/they're all rounds failing, you switch one of them and someone with mic joins, the one who got switched to T leaves the server, the one with mic will be T again? It sucks Sad

I lowered the ratio to only 1.65 by the way.

@Spx: Then you switch those without mics, where's the problem? You can take care of the ratio yourself as member, then the plugin don't has to. 1:1.65 is the absolute mimimum. (2/4, 3/5, 4/7, 5/9, 6/10, 7/12, 8/14)

The problem here, which we had experienced last night, is that when there's only 2 people on the server that one in CT gets switched to T. A third person doesn't really join until after maybe 5-10minutes.? (by that time, the players on the server may have gotten bored from being stuck inside cage Mad)

But since the switching is now at the end of the round, it should be fine -- but now the map would probably last for a while since it will keep resetting when the CT gets autoed to T and then attempts to go back to CT.

Another change: When the ratio is bad, switching to CT gets prevented, so there will be hardly any switching by the plugin anymore.

@Hanyuu: Yeah, I was aware of that the switching procedure was suboptimal, and when I went to sleep I already planned to optimize it when I get up :p. So yeah I did, and I hope you come along with it now, as it's the best possible to keep the ratio somehow fair.

mati, i honestly dont get why the autoswitch
But I agree that sometimes there are to many cts for few ts, but well, some cts are useless and can get switched, and there will be allways useless cts.
In the other hand the plugin can auto switch a good ct that has a bad score or whatever.
Tbh, I dont think its needed at all, it has been working far so far, if you noticed that there were to many CTs to few Ts, you should have switched the noobie ones I guess.

I dont think its good to let a machine do a human job since there are many variables that the machine doesnt consider

@pn: Members can still manage the CTs as long as the ratio is ok (and we are talking about the absolute minimum ratio). If that fails, the ratio manager smoothly switched the last ones on roundend. And no, it didn't work in the past, throughout the whole morning until afternoon there are *way* too many CTs, and when you try to change that as members, some strange players keep joining and you have the same problem again. Just saw it again yesterday.

And it's not really an "auto-switcher".
