Borderlands
Ive recently downloaded the game Borderlands, its an open world FPS game where you can loot as much as you want. Its like WoW only in FPS.
You can play Co-op up to 4 players where you can use to be a soldier, berserker, rogue or a siren.
It is pretty sweet and you dont need a high-end pc to be able to play this game. If you have it contact me via steam so we can play together

Re: Borderlands
Bought it when it came out, expected alot, and it was a complete failure.
A nice try though =/
It's nothing like WoW as mackey claims it to be, as it is NOT an open world FPS, its a closed world FPSRPG, with a max of 4 people present.
The loot is similar to that of Diablo II: Random crap with random stats, which ends up in cometely useless combinations of stats with weapons.
It was fun to play in the start. There is a certain storyline to be followed which isn't exactly a story, more like 'go kill this and go collect that' without any real story based reasons behind them.
Once you finished the storyline, you get to do the exact same storyline again but now your opponents are at a higher level, which doesn't really increase difficulty even since you're a much higher level yourself..

Uhm ive finished the game and its an OPEN WORLD you can go everywhere you want freely except at the begining where you need to level a bit so you can be strong enough to go outside. Yeah the storyline is actually crap your goal is to find a hidden alien treasure roflmao.
Install the game so we can play together d4z0

Re: Borderlands
open world FPS would mean online open world aka everyone can access the world you are in, not simply a free world.

Re: Borderlands
mackey, you clearly don't get the deffinitions of open world.. it would mean no (or atleast high) limitations... max 4 is quite a low limitation

Yeah 4 players is very low that is true but I heard that Borderworls (the new game) will have more players

Re: Borderlands
Got borderlands since it was released... finished game in 1 week lol... played it with my friends <.< but we were with 5 so YES it is annoying that the max is 4... but the game itself sux...
+ the ending of the story sux to... youd expect a treasure but instead you get a gigantic monster whos unbeatable <.<...
anyway , its better when you finished it..

Diablo II without the awesome story and gameplay
Borderlands recoil system is simply terrible
