muting

hey people,
just a quick question.
does randomly muting someone in jailbreak considered vip abuse?
i dont really see why its vip abuse as the mute option doesnt actually work.

However, doing it for no reason, so, if its not funny in any way or something like that, it's just plainly annoying

because last time, i vote mute coffeecake just for fun because every round, ct failed hard. and then he votekick me with reason of me abusing. -.-

I agree to marksel. remember annoying things is that the buttons you press to take part of the vote usually are binded to switch to weapons. and the sound can also annoy some people.
but not a reason to (vote)kick at all, if it doesn't get spammed.

muting a terrorist wouldn't have much effect, but a CT who wants to command (and isn't spamming or annoying) is rather not nice.

the mute doesn't work, that's the point. you can votemute as much as u want, the player won't get muted.

exactly.. well, just wanted to clarify on that cause i got really pissed off that time i got kicked just over one vote mute.

Well i know it doesnt work, But still you need to have a reason its just like votekicking someone because you feel like it, If someone spams mic though make the vote mabye they will not spam and if they carry on tell the member/admin on server to kick or votekick him

Yeah what D4z0 said, i use the mute option to "warn" ppl to not spam in mic while member isnt online (sometimes i do it while member is online but that doesnt matter)
