I think it isn't because you can't walk on sky, you can walk only on this building right? And people can boost eachother to reach it so it's not mapwalking in my opinion Wink

Hmmm,

I used to go there with ViP slap :p
Its not really mapwalking seeing that you can see the t and the t can see you so you dont really have any advantages on them.

Anyway, like I said back then I kinda think it is mapwalking, because it's not that easy to get up there. Aalso, if the player goes all the way to the back or right in the middle of the roof, it's impossible for others to see him/her up there.
However, I'm open for discussion, so let's hear some more opinions (also from members please Smile

).

in de_nuke its hard to get on "red rock" but red rock is not mapwalking ^^ so in my opinion mapwalking is "if you are on a please where you walk on sky... or you can see throw walls... because the wall is using the null texture. there is only used on walls, there is not "watchable" thats my opinion of mapwalking ;D

My deffinitly of places that I consider mapwalking:
-Places you can only reach by boosting THROUGH an object
-Places through which you can see areas from which they can't see you, like the yellow-black area on ba_tamama, if you get on the wall of the sockerfield and walk up, you can look down INTO the cell area.

So, as long as you can get up there by boosting (an amount of max 3 people needed imo, don't go up on a mountain that needs 8 boosters:P), and it is propperly textured, in my eyes it is not mapwalking.

HOWEVER: if there if a place like quicksilver said, where you are impossible to be seen unless you are up on that roof, sitting there as last T or CT or whatever I would consider blocking gameplay, much like ventcamping after 0.00, and shouldn't be allowed.

Yes, but guns can't hit a person if he's crouching in the middle of the roof for instance. The angle makes it pretty impossible I think. But let's hear some more people, come on guys! JB members, have your say aswell please!

Not really because you can boost up there and you dont boost through objects and if the map creator didnt want it he woulda either removed it or added a clip texture (so they cant get up)

i agree, if map creator would have allowed people to get there, he wudda made it with 2man boost maybe 3 man boost..... not 6T boost ffs Razz

Plus the only people that can get there are VIP's or people who are slapped by VIPs.... Then again, they paid cash for it, so why should they be discriminated against? Razz

But yeh, if they camp there for ages other VIP's should slap them or Members should slay them Very Happy

... Admins shud give Free HE Nades to all T for 15 seconds to kill the camping bastid ^^

Actually it's very eazy to get there, what you need is 2 people. First, one boost you and another one to fence of big cage and then one boost you from fence to this roof Wink

For the terrorist like nobody can come up there.. Because you need 3 people to do that. But for Ct's I should be a good place.. When there not camping ofcourse.
