Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Eh, the anime can never beat the sound novel. Due to episode limitations, it just can not cover every detail included in sound novel. However, it's still not too bad, pretty bloody and I love the crazy/mental laughs.
Has a few connections to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, but not completely related.
Order of greatness: Sound novel>manga>anime
It's a loop of two days until the murderer is found. o__o
There is a total of 4 question arcs (meaning 4 different times the people were murdered with murderer unknown)

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru will cover the answer arcs, but expect the 2nd season to appear 1-2 years later. ^_^

Plot Summary: Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986, during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima (六軒島, Rokkenjima). The head of a wealthy family named Kinzo Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eight of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are three family members who live there, five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eight family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.
