I would hack it back, but not just because I can,
but mostly because i hate buying something again just because some1 stole it from me.

I will confirm that hater is hacked, he told me yesterday in skype and he is trying to get his acc back. Also, his forum acc was also hacked so if he posts anything here, don't click any links!

Indeed i got hacked last night at about 22:00, everything got fishy alot earlier that day, after one fo the servers in my favoriutes stopped playing usual ka_acer maps (knife) and started playing de_dust2, pretty odd as a knife serv ive never seen that there. Later the server got deleted added and deleted again, renamed to cs 1.6 and weird stuff like that. Later that night exactly one of the admins of that server writes to me exactly what d4z0 said.

As hes respected and trusted admin of the serv's i didnt say no to hes vote, but the funny thing is I actually asked him if hes using some Knife CFG, the hacker said something like "yes but not good one" i said "where did you get it from" then he gave me link to fpsbanana and said all those cfg's are there, i said fine but i managed to see hes TERRIBLE english, though hes just lazy to write. Went on the site and didnt see anything strange, after i though its some kind of a list with clans to vote for, no list no nothing just steam, i though "hey i'm gonna log in and maybe then i`ll be able to vote" just a sec before logging in i pressed on home and i got to the original steam site, so i though its the same thing, went back and wrote my username + pass.

After i pressed login, got confused why nothing actually happened, exactly 15 seconds after my steam account got logged on another machine, as i've expereienced it before first thing i did is to make sure virus/spyware scanners are on and i started writing to valve immediatly.Found some tracking cookies only and a trojan in a file and frankly i though its the trojan that was a keylogger. Left pc scanning few more times as usually when 1 piece of spyware is removed - another one shows up. After a few more scans everything was clean and i already had my ticket to valve for hijacked account. After comming to there forums here today to see what's going on, i saw the thread that im hacked, and only after I actually saw that the link is the phising, and the trojan in my pc had nothing to do with it, i got really shocked.

After pretty much alot of hours and money spend on protection (with years in online gaming in wow as it was a huge spot for hackers) i didnt actually thing that i would EVER fall for a phising site, but i did. Seems theres a hacking spree going on in steam atm, if the admin of those knife servers managed to fall for it i dont know how many before him did. Double checking stuff from now on. As for my acc im still awaiting response from valve, so my steam acc still isnt safe, although forum acc and pc are 100% safe with password changes.

I'm sorry for hear that Hater, we really hope you get your Steam account as soon possible back

since hater wanted me to confirm this, this is the real hater and not the hacker ^_^

Update: Got answer from valve, password rest changed toghether with emails and secret questions, got my account back. I`ll try to remmember to add everyone that was in my friends list or you can add me if you like.

All safe now, and the most important thing, im not VAC banned or anything like that, everything is the same . I'd like to give everyone that was involved my apologies for this epic fail i managed to pull off. Nobody deserved to be spammed by a hacker because of me, some would not trust me from now on or so, but i hope i've learned that even the links from the most trusted people might be fishy . Again i apologize for all the drama and everything to everyone in nD and appriciated the support.
