I NEED A GOOD GAME RECORDRE FOR CS

FRAPS is a good program for recording just about any game, i just seem to have a program recording ingame sounds with it though, but i have a really old version.

usually you pay for fraps but the program has probably the most cracks available of all programs out there ^_^



If FRAPS doesn't work for you, have a look at Gamecam.
Gamecam is completely free but the quality is a bit lower

(P.S, if you don't crack/pay for FRAPS, the quality will be worse than Gamecam)


If you want tips on making your vids ultimately have the best possible quality (aka, how to render it the best possible way) give me a poke.

Hyper cam its free but its a lot of memory for 1 video

Fraps is good but you can only record 30 secs (i think that only happens unless you register)

I used fraps but the fps goes 30 tops, and I think ill give it a try, btw im using newsgroups so ill find the cracked one fast

You don't need more than 30 fps to make a movie...

Well it would be better , but if i can record it via YOUTUBE HD quality then its ok for me..

youtube HD quality is easily reached with any crap recorder as long as you render it correctly

as for fraps fps: i can record upto 60 fps on mine? :O even higher if you select the costum fps


you won't need higher fps than 30 for youtube, if you are putting the movie up for download i'd suggest going for around 45-50 fps for the best quality.

I made this movie with 35 fps with FRAPS, edited with Sony Vegas 8.0 PRO, rendered with Sony Vegas aswell (Sony Vegas is currently the best program to render movies with, without any effects , to render the movie it will take about 5 times longer than the movie itself, after all the effects i put in my movie, it took me about 6-7 hours to render a 3:40 min movie). My intentions were to make the movie about 40 minutes long and put up for download though, which didn't exactly work out that way ^_^

if it would be put up for download the quality is about 5-6 times as good (wegame HD is higher quality than youtube HD), you won't need the max settings if you put them up for stream.


Conclusion: any recorder will do if you only put it up for stream

Uhm.. it doesnt work .. u copied everything whats in ur program files xD

you need the orginal fraps from fraps.com first

My internet security 2009 from norton would detect it.. and its virus free

Its ok dazo, he copied his whole folder from Program Files, and i recognize the files because i had fraps before

I believe you dazo, but my comp is well protected .. im an IT-er not an Naab .. btw i downloaded fraps via my newsgroups.. got 2.9.9 going to upload screens soon
