Ok i have had a few people saying some maps are boring so im going to make 2 fun jail maps

Names:
Jail_smith (smiths jail)
Je_neon (je=jail escape and satoko idea)

Jail smith is 70% finished and im going to start on jail neon
so if anyone wants anything on the escape one post!!!

yes i want to see jail map with escape scenario (zombie escape related or if someone knows the map type "es" like this).

so guys this would be nice like normal zm maps maybe need a zm escape map after it to have different game feeling.

i think about a parcour or a bit deathrun (automatically) where ts need to get through and ct have a own way to move everywhere easy but ts can't enter it so maybe a bit glass way or normal wall textures with windows to let cts shot of course cts should be able to go outside but from outside no one can get in (people from inside need to open to let people in).

I've been thinking about that concept for some time, a deathrun with constant, automatic events that you must evade. For example you have the usual deathrun trigger: something comes out of the wall to push you off of the floor. This would be automatic once every 10sec, and you have just enough time to pass this. Compareable with the old wc3 costum maps called 'escapes'

I wouldn't know wether something alike would be possible, but if anyone thinks to have the mapping skills and knows what i mean, I would really like to see something alike.

Hmm.. i have some ideas for the JE map :p
Big "escape" kz area, where u can put a weapon on top of it, ( in case of weapon, u have to LJ to get it ) ; bhop is nice too ^^

A place that u press a button, to activate time, well, this is hard to explain.. then, places to jump appears on water ( water that u die if u touch it ), and u have to get to the other side before time runs out and the places to jump disapears xD

this has nothing to do with jail anymore and has alot more to do with KZ/bhop maps, this wouldn't fit what so ever on Jail Escape, it would just be Escape.

i was thinking of making a normal jail with lots of rooms/dark walls and cts get equipped with like ump or something (so they cant shoot through walls) and cts camp a room but can leave the room and give orders but if a terror escapes you have to find him or he has escaped the map?

Or i could make a jail on a island and places in the jail where you can break (windows,walls,floors) and get off the island but there is like 2 ways off without loosing like 80 hp (high drops) and if they escape there is a few guns on the beach

i think the 2nd one would be alot funner to play on

Reading this got me a whole new idea. You have a map similar to the jail maps right now, but a possibility to escape it too, like you said, for example a beach. Once a T reaches the beach, Terrorists win. If time runs out, CT wins. As if a T would be a hostage and the beach would be the capture point, if that makes it any clearer ^_^
If you do this the rounds should be longer though, like 9 min or so, so if the T's do obey and u play games, you accually have time to play them.

if you can't solve your problem with the compilers i could compile your maps. Just say me the parameters you wish to use and the wad files you used. then i can compile the maps for you (after i got the map file, of course^^)

but i gave you the link to batch compilers. maybe that works for you

maybe jail escape is to epic for cs 1.6 xD hm hope you guys solve the compile problem since i really want to see if jail escape make some sence. when ts can't escape easily but cts still have some work to do.
