Plot Summary: In a world rife with deadly creatures called "youma", a young silver eyed woman, Clare, works on behalf of an organization that trains female youma halfbreeds into warriors with the ability to destroy these creatures. Considered a rogue for picking up a stray child & almost losing herself to her youma side by "Awakening", she is constantly assigned rather dangerous missions...

And here to clarify, youma is a monster that eats humans. Clare is the female protagonist. Claymore//Silver-eyed Witches are what youma half-breeds are. By saying youma half-breeds, it means that these females were taken by their families or lost their families to youma, and the organization inserts youma bloods into their bodies. In doing so, these Claymores gain the power to track and kill youma.
Awakening refers to Claymore losing their human consciousness to the monster side/blood (they lust for human guts).

My ratings: A very good anime with a thick plot, contains a lot of action and a little bit of romance. Though there were some boorish/vulgar scenes in the anime, but if overlooked I really liked it.
The Manga goes further than the anime (manga came out first). The anime followed the story plot of the manga very well up till the ending, where it was completely different.
All in all, an excellent anime that is worth watching. ^_^

I downloaded it this morning, and already seen 20 eps today..
This anime is AWESOME!!!! O.O
Anyone that liked Bleach will deffinitely love this one aswell.

I love the mix of soft romance, sadism, and a hell load of irony.

Womens with swords is wrong,

All we got left is war, and they took that ( in animes tho )
