Why do i lag only on my maps?

Ok ive created lots of maps but when i play them i lag badly but when i play a normal map on lan it not laggy help me please so i can test my maps fastly

You probably have a hole in your map. create a large box around your map and try if the lag disappears.

no i have it on test server and koyumu runs around without lag but i lag only and it has box around it in every map (sky)

question : Is ur whole map lighted without shaddows or ?

Don't make theese big boxes or you could get lag from there too

Trigger_hurt makes little lag maybe remove useless t_hurt (if map have) away?

when you don't have shadows, you actually got a problem in your map, i think neither vis nor rad could run (both are compilers). This happens for example when you got a leak. Also try perssing Alt + P (or go to "Map" -> "Check for Problems") and try to fix every problem you got there. (Well, you can ignore unused Keyvalues, i think. )

But every problem is written in the compile log. So maybe look at it first and check there what might be the problem.

(rad is a compiler for light and shadows. when it has a problem, the map is fully bright and often laggy. when rad has a problem, vis usually got the same problem and can't run)

Ok in every map i make i get 4 fps and lag alot and when other people play they have high fps and have no lag i only get the lag but if i look at the floor it goes away and when i look back up it comes back so does anyone know how to fix this? or is it my computer

do you have a dual-core processor? maybe try to run counter-strike hl.exe just on one cpu. when i run cstrike on 2 cpus, my cs is very laggy and i got very low fps.

I have lagg on my map when i have an leak , when i fix the leak i havent any lagg !!
