Ghosting During HnS in Steamchat

It came to my attention that during HnS there is some obvious ghosting except, you cannot prove it.

I think some people are definatly ghosting in the steam chat where someone is (today in the HnS) I have seen Aurelius running exactly to the last (of the 2) terrorists to kill him. Call it accidental if you will but I don't think it's accidental. You can see this during almost every HnS, therefore i think it should not be allowed to do a HnS or you guys should come up with a way to stop this.

This should usually be taken care of online member(s) or admin(s) on the server. Although a demo would be sufficient as proof aswell, nevertheless ghosthing on a HnS is far away from getting a strike, only if there's proof that that current person is doing it everytime there's HnS.

I have seen this several times during a HnS, when it comes to the last 2/3 terrorists there is always 1 running directly towards the guys to end the day.

Even when you think, this will take forever, you will come to notice it only last for not even a minute.

It's not worthy of a ban but still, actions should be taken regarding this issue.

Well then that might be ghosting trough steam chat, which we have no control over, but as I said if the ghosting is made trough the in-game chat members should kick the person and maybe note down the ID and see if he does it next map and if he does it again a second kick/warning should be enough and the 3rd time is a 2h ban + second ban with a strike.

Btw, this is not ment directly towards Aurelius!
It's how I think it goes regarding almost any HnS.

Just leave a message in the chat, and the ghoster will get temp-banned/warned.

Well, i was there when several spammed that aurelius got ghosted, but the point of it being i never saw aurelius find the one in the vents, i searced one vent and almost got lost in those, but said i searched the vents, so after some time of endless searching aurelius said he would search the vents and found one i thought he killed one though, and that person who got killed shouted that he have been ghosted via steam chat.
there is no way to directly prove that unless being the person who wrote it or the person who recieved it.

Thus including that this can't be stopped.

How can you stop a thing that you can't see?

I say, if it's the last 2 terrorists and you are spectating someone running directly towards a terrorist (in a place totally off course), call him out, ask him why he went directly towards that point. If you see such a thing happen more often, give a warning perhaps?

Ghosting during hns is unstoppable, you are always unable to find out who was the one ghosting in steamchat.

I once got killed as well by ghosting, was hiding on the toilet in arizona. Then all of the sudden, I heard footsteps of a CT and it directly walked to the toilet door and wallbanged me.

I think there is no way to stop steamghosting at all.

well i was on the server the other day....the ct was using his voice comm and i could hear in the background the STEAM CHAT noise. meaning he was getting messages....i asked but it was from a "friend". BS!

That's exactly what I mean and why I hate HnS lately.
You kinda know the ct's are getting info so it doesn't really matter how brilliant your hiding spot actually is.

I have the most fantastic idea of testing this theory of which i might let you in on if you ask me in pm IF your an admin.

Im warning all of you now, if you hear of some cheating, it might be me doing it once or twice.

When an admin is online it would be good if they set mp_forcechasecam to "2" (maybe freeview is still active then -> mp_chasecam 1). And change (both) back to 0 when HnS ends.

This will only work when an admin is online on the jb server, so maybe 1 hns of those made all day are actually with this command

make a hns plugin then?

Just make a sort of menu which gives up a list with days.

- Freeday
- Cageday
- Hide and Seek
- w/e day

And so when u press this the day will be chosen and the settings will be changed for that round.
But I haven't figured out yet who from the CT team gets to decide this.

Mp_forcechasecam 1.....will do.

Well sultan, who of the CTs should activate this menu then?
Cause it cant automaticly detect Commander xD
