Make something out of Sliderace.

Well, As we all know now sliderace has not had over 10 players since the first 2 weeks it arrived, So heres my suggestion.
We can make another server out of Sliderace and get players on CS6. People will say that if we had more maps it would be good, But the fact is we wont. Its not a server worth making maps for.

So here is the possible servers we could change it to:

PaintBall Mode:

Paintball mode is a very fun and simple mode, It consists of 2 teams with paintball guns and paintball grenades. The 2 teams have to try and reach the other teams base and raid it and shoot everyone there, They can be shot once or 100 times depends on the config of mode. So this mode is really a good team play mode or a skilled player mode, It helps players train there default Cs skills and there is a variety of maps on it, So this mode would be a fun mode for neonDragon and definetly would attract more players than the current Sliderace server.

Soccerjam Mode:

SoccerJam is a really good mode, Its football in counter strike, Just like the Jailbreak ball but alot more complex. Both teams start in there goal and the ball spawns in the middle, Each team has binds to curve the ball and pass to team mates, When a goal is scored the player is giving EXP to level up his levels which are:
Stamina -- Increases Health.
Strength -- Increases kicking str.
Agility -- Increases Run Speed.
Dexterity -- Increases Ball Catching.
Disarm -- Increases chance to disarm ball or knife.

The point of the game is to win the match by scoring a certain amount of goals, And adds a point to there teams total win. Yet again this would definetly get more players than sliderace.

FFa Mode:

FFa is basically Normal Counter-Strkike, But only consists of 3 maps (de_inferno,de_nuke,de_dust2). The point of it is to plant the bombs as terrorists and CT's have to stop the T's planting the bomb. nD did have a FFa server, But it started to fail because of fail hitboxes and lag. But it was good when it started. For this mode all you need is a server config which can easily be made by a admin if they decide to add this mode to nD.

Hide 'N' Seek - Blocks -

HnS Blocks is a very fun mode, As long as you know how to Bhop, The point of HnS is for Terrorists to hide while CT's are frozen and blacked out in spawn. The terrorists can get up into special spots by using the blocks and even get some special stuff to use, When the time is up the Ct's go search for the terrorists and have to get to where they are (unless they are on the ground). HnS can have alot of different plugins, 1 plugin I seen on a HnS server I played made the mode pro, It randomly equipped the Ct's or T's with weapons without anyone knowing, So they can kill the enemy. I have alot of custom plugins for this mode which make it alot more fun and easier.

Modern Counter Strike Mode:

This is a very old mode, I played this when I started playing Cs (2005/2006). This mod I have to say is the best mode I have ever played, When both teams spawn they get a menu asking which guns they would like to buy, But this isnt like current Cs guns, Its modern. So we were able to buy RPG's, Molotovs, Flame Throwers, .50 Cal Sniper. Lots of different stuff but the gameplay was pro and they had custom models for all the guns, So it really looked pro, Now I know this would take alot of coding to make but this would be really worth it, This I gaurntee could be the most popular nD server if made right, But as far as im aware there is plugins being released public for it.

Hopefully, We can get a different server than Sliderace, Since its rarely got 1 person in it. But theese modes I think would make it the most famous, If anyone would like to suggest another mode feel free and post a bit about it and if possible the link to its plugin, Then il edit this and at it to the Vote.

There are some assault servers out there and I gotta say people love them!

Heck I sure do, so why not give a try for 24/7 32 slot assault server with BALANCED editions of the assault map.

Why not just keeping this server down till the other servers are getting filled.
The more servers the lower the popularity of the servers (except Jail and Zombie), this is at least how i think about it

FFA : Yes.. give FFA server... guess Dazo pays the bill then... beucase its not gonna happen on nD Servers with that latency..

Wc3: yey!! funny the first mounth.. then you got all level 10 = boring..

Soccerjam : fine idea... Tho people will harras like shit when someone got the ball 24/7 and YES.. it will happen.. so it requires too much moderating.. tho its a nice mod..

HNS : Funny mod, tho im not sure people will play it, beucase some can do 250LJ and rest cant= cant get them

Paintball Mod : hmm never been my cup of tea, so no comment

Modern CS: Hopefully kidding me there :/... Go play Halflife <.<

Keep Sliderace: Or just shut the server down so the other gets better :/

Tho its not here i still recommend to try a Speedrun Surf server. since the speedrun server got players.. and it dosnt require any kinda moderation...

easy to fix ,

Max of 10-20 secs running with ball. easy plugin.

Paintball or bring deathrun back with drshop, I still remember death run being succesful as well, but since drshop etc got removed... and respawn time got removed as well... no one played it anymore.

Soccerjam not, you will think 'awesome, yay' but just as with sliderace... you would get tired of it after around 1 hour.

Actually soccerjam isnt that bad. What got me to nD was the old nD soccerjam server (dam u koy for closing it lol). It was very popular cuz there was auto bhop on also, so the game went faster. And everyday there was like atleast 10/32 on the server.

I would say give Deathrun a new chance.. was the server that brought life to the forum (before jailbreak came to nD) and created the member groups. Today with many players on servers and redirect i think DR can get popular again. I dont think ppls want another 'shooting server' cuz we alreddy have many of em. We need a relaxing server like deathrun.

So? Deathrun got closed down, for no one playing it. X-Redirect wont change it either everyone knew about dr until all the shitty things were brought in (1t max, shop etc..)

Mabye we should try another mode out and see how it does other a month or something.

i see alot of guys saying : "it will just get boring after a month"

easy solution -> chaneg the mod very month ^^
