Need more admins.

This server need more admins in the evenings.
It's ALWAYS one or two people aircamping or destoying others bases.

Gets really annoying really.

So, what will you do about it?

I would gladly sign for kick/slay commands if you are short on people.
I'm just sayin'.

We do try get as much people on all the servers as we can, But members and admins have lifes outside computer but some people are getting holidays soon so you may see a increase.

This is out of my rande. What I can do is add a vote to slay airmcampers. But the question is : Would it be abused for people with a nice, hard base that is possible?

I can try to watch it, but only until 5 am GMT

Umm well a suggestion would be if a vote slay but the player that casts the vote has something to risk for example

Slay Player For Aircamping?
1. Yes (10%)
2. No (90%)

The player that then casts that vote would be slayed the round after

But i dont know how to stop the abuse :/

Night time ain't really a problem, only like 6 people on so.
They might have problems when they play but I sure don't
enjoy playing with such short playerbase.

But in the evening like, 8pm-12am gmt+1 there is always some abuser in there.

Maybe you should consider making the VIPs able to slay and or kick without a vote, and if they are abusing the power, they should have it removed. I mean, I have only seen like 2-3 VIP this week in there.

We do have enough members (take a look at the list in the 'news section'), but most of them are finishing school/finishing this year of school. Soon the summer holiday will come (+-1 week), which could mean more members online or less online.

It's a good idea to report these players who do aircamp or break the rules, make sure you get some proof over some rounds and not just only one (demo would be the best).

Another idea is, that you add some members to your friendlist in steam, click here to go to the list. If you contact one of the members who is in-game or is able to join the server we could also help.

Well, I have seen some members but they don't do anything about it, they just say that they are members not admins. I guess they are right too.

And making demos of them all would take forever.
I guess I can make demos of the ones I see most often.

Some of them actually aircamps and other stuffs all the time.

What about foul language? I've seen like 2-3 people who plays on the server alot that keeps calling people retards or mother f***ers all the time. Really ruining the fun when they keep spitting on other people.

Okay I was playing just a while ago, saw a aircamper and thought I could use my extra grab thingie,
well good for me it has been 'disabled', I can grab a block after time is up,
But, I cannot move it nor do anything else with it, so I cant do shit anymore..

That would probably be a bug, the server has been updated, I think (talk to grim? ).

A screen of a aircamper, take around 3 and you're done? A demo doesn't need to be that long, so it's not that hard and not that much time you're spending on it, but mostly the zombie/fun members need to play there.

That would be very strange, any other admins having the same problem? Maybe because the access flags recently changed?

The flag for using the extra grab power was changed to "r" (= ADMIN_LEVEL_F). I instantly updated the users.ini file when the plugin got updated, so it would be pretty strange if it don't work for you (dazo/oempa/smile).

Be awere, before I forget. For anti admin abuse reasons : Grabbing new blocks is disabled after building, Grabing your own blocks after building time is disabled. Only admins can do is grab other people their blocks if they are aircamping.

Otherwise admins can just continue to build? Isn't that a little abusive?

Well sometimes people steal blocks but if the blocks are untouched i think we should be allowed to grab thoose to make a way up to the players base and if were dead we can grab all if thats possible?

I can remove the protection, no problem for me. Anyway Im going to make a little update anyway. If you find any bugs post them here. I don't play there anymore because of people like actually are always stealing of me and acting pretty rude. And I'm a little busy now with exams and setting up servers atm.

Yeah, people stealing blocks and acting rude is a HUGE problem on the server.

Is it somehow possible to get admin commands on this server?
Don't know if you have enough or if it's possible to just give some
commands like slay. If there is any possibility, what is needed to get it?
Can VIP do something about aircampers? I mean, since the moving block things doesn't seem to work.

I totally agree with this post , the serv is funny , i like that mod , but every time when the server is about to be full , and lots of people are joining , some people are f***ing the game ... So people leave . The server really need more admins . I suggest a votekick or also a voteban for people who are playing so they can ban those guys who are f***ing the game ... or also get a new admin who can be online some times .

You have to play active and if the admins think your good enough you will get recruited by them as a member.
