second time I catch him making racist remarks on the csdm2 server. enough is enough in my opinion

that looks like racism to me how about you others? im muslim and i take that offensive...

as I said it happned a second time in a few days now. Id really like to provide more evidence to support the ban.

additionally some more admins frequenting the server wouldnt hurt, though I know its pretty time-consuming. however there are times when the game becomes nearly impossible to enjoy due to music spammers, bug abusers (spec bug, godmode bug), till-roundend campers, flamers and racists just like him.

apart from all this I really love this server though. gj keep it up!

ill try to pop in more often and keep an eye on it .

well if they are spamming the mics just simply put them on mute! what the guy has said there is racist, but an immediate ban is a bit silly. a couple strong warnings and then a ban would be more appropriate in my opionion.

id say the immediate bans are for the hackers.

this is what the 3 strike system is for, it gives ppl a chance to learn the rules and alter there habits when they play on neon, unless u know a person is a regular and knows the rules already then you should first explain the rules and the 3 strike system to them, then if they persist they get a timed ban and a strike to there name.

if we dont explain the rules and the system to them in the game they will never learn.

Ya, Strike 3 is for hackers and in worst cases if the person never stop with what he is doing. And with the rules. Satan, maybe you can make a thread on the admin site so we can discuss it

why is it an issue? scenario...

"foolish player": i hate all *******
"admin": please dont use racism on server or you will be banned (1 strike)
"foolish player": i hate all ******* and you too admin.
"admin": You will be banned if you continue
"foolish player": screw you, your just the same as *******
"admin": Goodbye.

theres a difference between a continuous incident happened in one single game session as your example and a repeated action performed over a period of multiple days/weeks/etc. imo.

latter spreads much more disturbance by expanding it over several sessions and is thus much worse. people will obviously say "wow this guy's here again...seems like flaming is not frowned upon here and thus not even cared about" and will probably leave the server or will potentially start flaming themselves in the worst case.


even if your said scenario happens to occur, there needs to be an admin present on the server in order to ban the flamer right away. and as I said with not many admins around the bad guys eventually regard blocking, flaming, micspaming, textspaming, camping etc. as not a bad thing since noone seems to care/report and get used to doing it thus making hay while no admin shines (...which he never does actually)

and as it says on website, go into console and take a screenshot of them doing so. I assume seeing as your seeing this problem, your on there to take screenshots too.

I made a scenario of which yes, its easy to ban them then. If im honest with you, if someone starts being racist, i would not start to think its ok for me to be racist, nor be influenced and become racist.

Nobody will think that if someone makes a racist comment that the server accepts this. They will notice that an admin is not present and have to accept that at the present time, no immediate action can be taken.

heres another one for you... this time I though he just says one or two offending words and will continue playing again. guess I was wrong: he kept flaming the whole time and made others jump on the flame wagon too. I actually started collecting evidence (making screens) much too late

with all due respect what is the point of this subforum if you guys dont even look into this kind of things? at least someone confirm that there will be something done about it... seriously it wouldnt surprise me if the server is full of flamers one day as people will obviously realize they get away with it
