Vent or not a vent?

There is a yellow ladder in the cellarea that leads up to a little room with a weapon and a nade.

Some members told me its a vent, others told me its not.

So it is a vent or not?

Not a vent just a room.

It doesn't say it's a vent if you use the description which is stated in the rules. So no, it's not a vent, just a room with a TMP.

As the other members stated, it is not a vent. Only time when it is a vent is when the length is greater than 1-2 m

If taken in the context of jail, then a vent serve as a means of escape/exit. That ladder only leads to a room with a tmp and is enclosed by 4 walls (you can't even escape from there).
