Need help with RPG Maker XP

I've started to use the program RPG Maker XP, again, since I find it great to kill time with.
There's one thing I'm having a problem with. And I hope that there's someone here who has also used it and is quite of an expert on it.
It's at the beginning, I want it to change the actor graphic/class after what the person answers. But using the event commands 'Change Actor Graphic/Class' doesn't work. Does anyone know how it should be done? If so, please tell me. =)
