that is not even a possible function..

4x(3x+23y)-(-5y-3x)=0 would be, I guess that is what you meant?
this would still not be a possible to determine determine x and y because they are relative to eachother. all you could do is make it a shorter function, which would look like this:

12x²+92xy+5y+3x=0

Here is one for you pukata:

3log(x²) + 3 = 3log(12) + 3log(x)
x = ?

general explenation:

2log8=3 -> 2^3=8

logarithm basicly sais, when you have: xlogy, it asks the question: how many times do I have to let x multiply itself, to get y?

to get 8, you need to let 2 multiply itself 3 times: 2X2X2= 8 = 2^3, so 2log8 = 3

While we're at the maths subject anyway, heres a 'riddle':

a = b
a² = ab (multiply both sides by a)
a² - b² = ab-b² (-b² on both sides)
(a-b)(a+b) = b(a-b) (simply a different way of writing the above line, work them out and you will see they are thesame)
a+b = b (devide both sides by a-b)
b+b = b (a = b, so substituted a by b)
2b = b
2 = 1 (divide both sides by b)

Why is this not possible?
