I Have an problem

Hi guys,

Every time i start cs 1.6 i got an problem.

I have to do aaaaaaal the settings again like "Name = unnamed" or give an key to Turn left Or Turn right, and all of them.

Its ofc not a lot of work, but its not right..my Bind keys like "Bind p ndmenu" is gone, and my status console

I have to do everything again...i hope one of you guys know what to do,

Did you try reinstall CS?

Check your config.cfg and bind all your keys there and save it

but im not sure about the name

Try to bind them when ur not on any server . Cuz when u are playing on any server and u try to change name or something , when mapchange it comes back again .

I sometimes got the same problem, I leave c-s, start it again, keys are unbinded... Go to options, do everything right click on aply or something.. and than click ok.. It should be fine for a while.

check if your config.cfg isn't marked as Read-Only file

yea check ur cofing.cfg open it at klad than post in what u want like bind tings.... and try if ur not in server than bind ur tingys

that was just a "non-quote-quoted" you said exactly whats been said earlier.
But yes you guys may be right, I didnt quite understand the 'problem' is it a start-up or mapchange the binds removes?

when i have this problems i simply re-instal it's the most easy mode that i can find
or if you want you can rezolve it like the rest said

save your config.cfg with all binds etc you want, and then make it a Read-Only file, how to make it into a Read-Only file can be read in the anti-rozespamm guide topic.
By doing this you make it impossible for the file to be overwritten.

The problem dissepeard after a restarting my pc, but i will look at congif next time. ty for help;)
