I have tried ripping a video from schooltv before for a school presentation, and i gave up after trying several different programs for 3 hours long.

You are better off finding something else

It is not possible to Download it Directly from the SchoolTv Server since the Flash-Movies are encrypted with the RTMP Protocol.

It would be Possible to get it with "rtmpdump", wich isn't Public anymore on the Official Site, so you have to get it on a Torrent Site like Piratebay or something else.

Other Options: Record it with Fraps, Hypercam, Camstasia or other Screen Recording Software.

RTMP capturing should also work with VLC. The only thing to do would be finding the rtmp-Adress.

Edit: It's not RTMP though, it is RTMPE. :O Never heard of the protocol. That's the RTMPE Link for the video: rtmpte://fmss.teleac.nl/media/video/20050127_handelinslaven01.flv
