Usually why dont ban people for that, but if it happens often we can temp ban him.

That is rude and I don't think it should be tolerated that someone harm your reputation using your nick! My opinion of the matter is to punish with temp ban or even perm ban.
It's not fair to be hated by others when you haven't done anything so we need proof.
