History to your country!

In this topic you can post the history of your country and tell others how proud you are of your country!

Hmm, Norway had the Vikings and in the Viking age many Vikings moved to a city called Sicilia, like 90 percent is Norwegian. The Italian Mafia comes from there and they are Norwegians. Just look how they cant get the Mafia, we Norwegians are so smart

Belgian beated Holland and won their independance i think it was 1830

Get the facts straight ^_^

Belgium was merged with The Netherlands, the Belgians never 'won' their independance, they simply left the Netherlands without any act of competition, war or battle.

Use the right words when you describe history, because the differance between 'won' and 'got' is quite massive in this context.

Greenland is called greenland because; the first time they found America it was so green, think it was new jersey they found then they went back home. Thats because they got forced by the conquistadors and forced to accept their religion. What I know by some latin americans is that the entire continent hates spain
