Proceedure To Request a Ban

A few guides:

    * Try and keep it to 1 continuous demo rather than lots of small ones as its harder to spot in short periods of time.

    * Dont keep pressing tab to view scores all the time (we dont need to know them as score means nothing and it proves very distracting when trying to watch a demo).

    * Best way to recorded is to go into spectator mode or type /kill in console at the beginning of every round (as if you just record when you die you could miss something incriminating.

    * Dont keep flicking between players ... just stay on the person you suspect is cheating.

    * Make sure you're in first person mode.

Now onto how to actually record:

    * Bring down console.

    * Type record demoname (try to keep the demoname relevant).

    * Find the person you want to record and stay on them.

    * Type stop to end the demo.

    * Compress the demo the same way as before (winzip, winrar etc).

Remember! to get their STEAMID:

    * Bring down console.

    * Type status. (this shows the IDs of everyone on the server).

    * Type snapshot (this will save a screenshot of the console - located in same place as default screenshots).

    * Include this screenshot in the revelant bundle.

If you recorded the demo using the record command in Counter-Strike, you can watch the demo by typing "playdemo DEMONAME". There are also other commands such as "viewdemo demoname". If you watch your demo with the "viewdemo" command you can play it slower/faster and jump to any time. Just press "Esc" and you will see.
If you typed "status" in console while recording the demo it will also get saved in the demo.
